Anyone that rated this lower than 5 stars didnt try the beef boat bowl!

Incredible restaurant with “hole in the wall” vibes. The owners were gone for 1 week for the holidays and I was having withdrawals. I drove by every day anticipating their return.

Authentic Thai owners as well!

This was my first time eating at Chada Thai (takeout order), and it will sadly be my last.

Although the service was excellent, and the food was tasty, its tough justifying paying $45 for two very small entrees and a side order of rice.

Photo for reference. Quarter is pictured for scale.

The vegetarian Panang curry is excellent. The service is friendly and the wait time short. Chada Thai is a Denver staple and uptown gem!

The food from here made us human again on a cold winter day after a long day at the museum. Really sweet staff and truly, very good food. If you can handle spice, order hotter than medium. I ordered medium as it was my first time here and there was barely a tingle. Still so so so so good though. And it warmed us up from the deepest parts of our heart out.

On that note, it was probably low 30s outside and the dining room was very cold. There is a high wall mounted heater that kicked on after we sat down, but it didn’t stay on long and as soon as it turned off, the dining room was totally freezing again. And lastly, the tea came out barely lukewarm. It was ordered because it was cold outside and cold in the dining room and it didn’t help.

My girlfriend and I came here for lunch on our break. The atmosphere is cozy, and they were playing great music. We both got the twelve dollar lunch special, my girlfriend got the fried chicken special, and I got the pork Panang curry with fried rice.

This was the best thai food that I had had since I went to thailand. The lady upfront was extremely nice and helpful, the cook was excellent. We had to leave so my girlfriend can go back to work, And all I could think about on the way home was eating the leftovers.

I highly highly recommend coming here if you love thai food or if you love food in general

Absolutely delicious food, welcoming environment and kind staff make me understand why this Denver gem is so special – outside being the first Thai resturant in the United States!

The first Thai restuarant in the US is right here in Denver of all places! When I heard that I knew I had to come by to check it out. Was not disapointed! However it wasn’t the best Thai food I’ve had. Its a cozy place with nice staff and friendly patrons so I’d recommend it if you’re in the area and want a taste of history!

Best Thai food I’ve found in Colorado yet. Consistent, balanced flavors (the noodle dishes aren’t drenched in sauce like many places I’ve experienced), and the history is cool: First Thai restaurant in the US! I sure hope others give it a try and keep going back, so that I can rest assured it will always be open

Tasty Drunken Noodles, but portions are small. Decent fried rice. You do most of the work. You Scan the QR code for the menu. You order at the front counter and self pay. The staff is very friendly, but you do most of the work. My dessert items that I ordered were not available, so they asked if I’d accept a substitution. I wonder if there is a way to mark unavailable menu items via software (grey out the item on the ordering tablet).

This place is one block from our house so it’s really hard to not order here. However the portions are so small for what the price is. So buyer beware they have recently just downsized their rice containers! We got the takeout out of the bag and we’re shocked at the new container which is almost comedy skit-worthy. We called to ask about it and the polite person on the phone guaranteed us that there’s actually more rice in the smaller container than there was in the older larger container! Not sure how that’s the case. See my pics and judge for yourself if you think the stir fried vegetables with this rice is really a $16.80 pre-tax meal!!!!
My five year old is in tears over the decision, but we’re not going to be ordering from here again. It’s just too much money for 2/3 of a portion!
