Decent food and really nice people but I am pretty sure my tortilla for my wrap was contaminated by a cutting board cleaner or bleach. At first I thought it was my imagination but after a few more bites I could definitely taste bleach on my tortilla….

This place is a gem! Nothing fancy, in the middle of nowhere, clearly loved by the locals. Really good food at good prices. Has an ATM machine and also takes credit/debit cards. Clean, room for truckers to park out by the road. Great breakfast options from bacon & eggs to omlettes to pancakes, etc Great lunch options from sanwiches to burgers to Prime Rib and baked potato. Clean restrooms. So glad I stopped!

Stopped here with a buddy who’s riding his bike along the Trans America Bike Trail (riding west to east). People in town were welcoming allowing us to camp in the town park. Due to weather the Mayor, Dave opened up the Lions Club Community Center and let us sleep inside for the night. Great restaurant and great people in the town of New Raymer.

The Ranch hand breakfast sandwich is possibly the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. It’s priced around $11 but is loaded with ham, bacon, sausage, egg and cheese. For dinner, I recommend the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and you can pick your own gravy. Very friendly staff and the place is always clean. It’s a little out of the way but for me it’s worth the drive.

Greeted and seated promptly. Food came out really fast, quicker than some McDonald’s lines. I had a grilled cheese and fries, my daughter had nachos. The actual nacho was a homemade chip from a flour tortilla. Different but good. Lots of fries!
