You don’t come here because you’re looking for a fancy dining experience. No you come here because you want to feel like home and get good home cooked food that is nicely balanced and gives joy to your taste buds.
We tried their endive salad ,chicken Cordon Blue and their special of the day the ribs.
I really enjoyed the salad, the endives bitterness with the slight hint of the gorgonzola on very light vinaigrette dressing. Lovely !
The chicken Gordon Blue, tender and juicy and the garlic rice with side salad go very well with the chicken and balance it out.
The ribs, yummy as they come right off the bone and the dry rub makes it pleasant to eat with your hands. The yucca, black bean sauce, rice and salad .. it’s a hardy dish but not heavy either.
I really enjoyed this place and the lively conversation with the owner.
Well done guys
It’s a must that I go back again to visit soon!
I would have had a great time in SF if I didn’t make it here, but going here i had the absolute best time ever.
Michele- Thank you for talking with us and ensuring we had the best time! You are amazing and made the best food and coffee that kept me alert until oregon
If you’re looking for real Brazilian food in the Bay Area, Noeteca is the place to go. In my opinion, it’s the best Brazilian restaurant around. The chef is from Minas Gerais—a region in Brazil known for its rich culinary tradition—and you can taste that homemade, soulful flavor in every dish.
My family and I go there often to feel a little closer to home. The owners—an Italian man Michele, and his Brazilian wife, Adriana—have created a space that truly embraces the Brazilian community, both in the food and the atmosphere mixed with Italian tavern.
The service is friendly and attentive, the food is authentic and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The ambiance is peaceful, with good music always playing in the background. You can also sit outside, which adds to the relaxed vibe.
They offer fresh juices like orange, pineapple, and more. On our last visit, I had a delicious beef stew with yuca, rice, beans, and salad. We also tried the pork ribs with yuca, rice, beans, and salad, and a hearty beef lasagna served with rice, beans, bread, and salad. Every plate came with farofa, just like back home.
Highly recommend for anyone craving real Brazilian comfort food.
But don’t wait!!! They are thinking or retiring!!! Panic and get there.
The bread and the garlic rice really compliment each other which seems unbelievable. I had the bettered cod fish which was wonderful.
I will let my lunch guests write their own reviews.
The affogato is like a Sunday and the coffee is the best in The City.
Get there before they are gone.
