This sweet, old-school Italian eatery sits between trendier Davis Sqr spots and is easy to miss, but that would be a shame. Entrees, sides, and drinks are large and delicious. The focus is seafood, and everything we sampled, from grilled calamari, to linguini puttanesca with scallops, to a whole branzini, was a delight. Sauces are heavy on olive oil. Waitstaff is attentive and professional. Tables by the front door are chilly in the winter; try to sit further back.

Dinner at out of the blue was just okay. We ordered 5 raw oysters that never came out. Our seafood dishes had mostly overcooked seafood that was chewy like bubblegum. The pasta and fra diavlo sauce were delicious. The service was pretty slow and inattentive. I would recommend a pasta dish if you come here.

Bottom line: Fresh, high quality seafood. The preparation you’ll likely recognize. Try the baked clams casino for appetizer. The lobster and seared scallops with pesto sauce for dinner. The restaurant is on the dark side in terms of lighting. Staff is attentive, and friendly.

Friendly staff…. adorable restaurant. Very inviting. Great food. Between my party of three we ordered calamari, Portobello mushrooms, mussels as our appetizers. For our entrees we ordered the half lobster fra diavolo & the Cajun swordfish. Every dish was amazing. Service was great. Would definitely come back.

The garlicy spinach and brocolli and the crab cakes are particularly good. The Cajun swordfish was a little tough and too spicy for my taste. I prefer the salmon main personally.

What a delicious experience! The food was delicious, the bar fully stocked, the service straight forward and helpful.
The chowder has better herb combinations than many, though I found pepper helped. The cod with picatta preparation was heavenly.
They have outdoor seating, wheelchair accessibility, and delicious bread to boot.
In a word? Yum!

Made reservation and showed up early to a great seat, at the front window! Service was wonderful and attentive. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the vegetables were not cooked into mush. They were actually still firm but cooked. The house salad and dressing were a perfect compliment.
