This spot was so good I went twice in one week.
I love that everything is vegan. They even have boba teas, desserts, take home soups.
It was pretty popular when I went there was a line. There were plenty of omnivores there because the food is so delicious your forget it’s vegan.
I recommend the poke bowl 10/10. My partner likes to Buffalo mac n’ cheese which has a bit of Cajun spice to it.
They have something for everyone! You can also order half portions of meals, which are still huge!
And the cakes and Whoopi’s pies are big! It’s a popular stand at the market and they are opening a restaurant, too!

You have to go to the back of the Central Market House. Fresh, delicious, everything is vegan! Excellent service, answered all my questions. I got brunch, empanadas and a rice, spinach, tofu bowl, and it was so good I got some frozen soup for later. Run to this place if you are vegan.

This place is incredible ! It’s in the central market in york. It’s a completely vegan restaurant and they also have gluten free items. (The gluten free cake is delicious)
I ordered the loaded baked potato empanadas, a prickly pear lemonade and gluten free chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting . And all I can say is WOW!!!
I know now to get more than 1 order of the empanadas ! Fantastic customer service , a little bit of a wait but it was because they were so busy. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED checking this place out!

Central Market in York is where you’ll find the best tasting Vegan food at HYPE.
Empanadas were delicious served hot and fresh.
My BF got a huge Greek salad.
I liked their iced teas.
Great food and friendly people at a nice place to shop. Go check them out. You won’t be disappointed.

This review is coming a bit late, but better late then never and it would be terrible not to give kudos to such outstanding people and food. I was in the hospital last Thanksgiving and my daughter and spouse were raving about their hand delivered Thanksgiving meal. Talk about service and compassion! Beyond thoughtful and sweet to make sure they had a Thanksgiving meal and boy what a feast it was. When I got home I was blown away. The three of us are vegetarian and it’s difficult to get such a delectable fresh meal.
Now on to the food. I have texture and eating issues so I must say the dish was beautifully presented and packaged! And the gravy was on the side so no sogginess, YAY! Everything was so fresh, perfect moistness, savory and sweet! The veggie roast was tender, collard greens perfect, the seasonings perfect. I could rave for hours and boy talk about that cranberry butter! paired with a glass of wine PERFECTION!! We all agreed though the sweet potato dish was our absolute favorite!!! YUMMY
Never visited them at the market but after writing this review we definitely will be. A++ Keep up the awesome work and thanks for being there for us vegetarians and vegans 🙂 Even if you do eat meat I highly recommend if you want to try something new. Stay safe and healthy everyone and don’t miss out!!

While traveling for work, I was seeking vegan options, expectations were met with disappointment at Hype. Despite a desire for flavorful and affordable meals, the reality fell short. The high prices (for what it was), lackluster taste, and low quality ingredients left much to be desired. It was so bad I threw it out. I swear it was spoiled! The market was also very run down and dirty. Consider alternatives or pack your own lunch when traveling to this area. There is one really good vegan place but she’s pre order only so you have to plan at least a week in advance, maybe more. I pity vegans who live in this area.
