We ordered the chilaquiles and street tacos. The green sauce while it was flavorful and the carne asada seasoned well. The rice and beans were lacking. The rice tasted a day old and bland. The beans also bland and needed more seasoning. As for the al pastor tacos there was a good char on the meat and flavoring. The pastor was not from a trompo. The business name is misleading as they advertise it all over their menu. The tacos needed the addition of pineapple to enhance the overall flavor of the meat. The tortillas I wished had a little char/crisp to add texture to the taco.

Another gem tucked away in this unassuming strip plaza. We went on a quiet week night recently. Our top shelf margaritas were delicious. We had chicken enchiladas with green sauce and a garlic shrimp dish. The refried beans were unique with a slightly smoky flavor. I liked all the homemade hot and guacamole sauces in squeeze bottles. This is a really nice family business. They were very accommodating and helpful with suggestions when we were torn over what to order. I wish I’d remembered to take pictures. We will definitely be back! We love supporting the local businesses and restaurants, especially as they struggle with the current construction adjacent to the strip plaza. It would also be a great place to watch a game on tv and sit at the bar.

If you like authentic Mexican fare and reasonable prices this place is great. We enjoyed enchiladas, tacos, guacamole and chips, and the California burrito. I particularly enjoyed the guacamole and the sauces. I opted for the regular and hot.

Whatever you do, do NOT order the CHILAQUILES MEXICANOS. Complete trash and such a waste of money. The burritos were gross (mostly filled with onions), bland rice, and the quesadillas were the thinnest I’ve ever seen. The horchata tastes like a powdered mix. Small shop – super size delivery of authentic and delicious Mexican staples. I can’t seem to get passed their al pastor sopes! So, so good. I typically get mine without lettuce and their hot salsa is a must. Also love that they set the table with a placemat just prior to food delivery…as well as their use of logo-ed, blue & white colored plates to serve freshly made dishes on. Don’t get discouraged by the looks of this strip (mall) – this place is worth the trip!

The tacos here were very good and reasonably priced! I got the slow cooked beef, beef ribs, and chicken taco. All of them were delicious, but my favorite was probably the beef ribs. There sauces were also good. They have a mild, medium, and hot. I tried both the medium and the hot and the hot was definitely my favorite. It wasn’t overly spicy.
The restaurant is pretty small and has five tables but it wasn’t too crowded and we were seated immediately. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The horchata was also really good and it was refillable!! I’m definitely going to come back here.
