This place is delicious! I’ve had trouble finding a good Chinese takeout that has the traditional fried rice. They also have Perfect honey chicken That is already tossed in the sauce. It’s such a good balance of crispy, sweet and savory. Keep in mind this is a takeout only spot, but I found the owners to be so kind and efficient. Thanks for a great meal!

We were in Jacksonville, FL for the weekend and in the mood for some decent Chinese food, especially since the Chinese restaurants back home aren’t that great. We did a Google search for Chinese restaurants near the hotel we were staying at and came across China Dragon. It was close by and had good reviews so we decided to take a chance with it. We arrived and found that although it’s 2026, the restaurant was operating like it was still 2021 during COVID. You could not enter the restaurant. You placed and paid for your order at the door. This wasn’t a big deal for us since we had kind of decided on getting takeout anyway. We placed our order and waited in the car. About 15 minutes later, an employee waved at us to let us know our food was ready. We collected it and started back to our hotel. During the drive, the smell coming from the bag had us considering pulling over and just eat on the side of the road, but we resisted the temptation and made it back to our hotel room before our hunger got the best of us. We ordered a small house special fried rice without veggies, chicken noodle soup, the house special lo mein and a couple of egg rolls. Our order came to a little over $30. Upon arriving back at the hotel, we discovered that the soup we ordered was a quart sized. We ended up just eating the soup and about half the lo mein and the egg rolls that night. Needless to say, the serving sizes were plenty big enough for us. We ended up saving the fried rice and remaining lo mein for lunch the next day, so feel we got our money’s worth and it definitely addressed our craving for Chinese food. So, if you’re in the Baymeadows area of Jacksonville and in the mood for some Chinese takeout, give China Dragon a try. Don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Note: the only reason we gave 3-stars for atmosphere is because we couldn’t enter the restaurant.

Good is great! I had been looking for a quality spot with good chunks of meat and great flavor. This is the spot. My partner loves the fried rice. He says it’s the dark fried rice which is perfect.

The best takeout chinese food I have had in Jacksonville and I am picky. Amazing fried rice and chicken dishes. Very flavorful. Take out only, no dine in. Convenient take out set up at front door.

Shrimp egg roll was thin. Shrimp fried rice had little shrimp but lots of onions. Fried wings were decent.

Ordered takeout on a busy Saturday night, the gentleman who took my order on the phone was very friendly. Food was ready in time. Chicken wings tasted fresh and shrimp fried rice was very good. Shrimp roll was good too.

So I tried the curry chicken combo.Good curry flavour but not spicy to me. Enjoyed the mix of vegetables zucchini, snow peas, mushrooms, onions & carrots.
Fried was good.
Eggroll was good. It was hot, mostly cabbage (booo ) but was fried cripy

We grabbed takeout from this Chinese spot near the Walmart Neighborhood Market, and it was really good! We tried the pork fried rice and shrimp fried rice, both were full of flavor and the portions were big. It’s takeout only, but the service was quick. Plenty of parking, but just be a little careful at night, a few sketchy people around. Great food overall!
