This place is a dump and smells like a garbage truck on a hot summer day. The service sucks and the guy who claims to be the owner is rude, definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed. I could smell the stench on my cloths hours after leaving. Once was enough and will never go again.

Alright so I’ve worked in this area 22 years. My buddy of mine comes here all the time last 18 years so I decided to finally stop by for a beer. The spot is great!! The vibe is cool. There’s a ton of things to do. So saying that. I am not a smoker. Cant stand it honestly but I deal with it on a night out. So I’ll get into that… I read a comment were owner said he keeps it for the people who’s kept him open and I can definitely respect that. But what about all new money can bring in if couldn’t smoke. This is 2025. Nowhere allows smoking anymore. Maybe build a nice tiki in the back? They’ll bring their drinks and have a smoke. Tbh is area is building like crazy and this only place that offers what it does. Can make best of both worlds. I enjoyed my time here. But I’ll have to be in mood to deal with it.

We have been many times, my partner smokes cigarettes and I don’t. I make sure whatever I wear there is something that is washable in hot water since I found the smoke smell doesn’t come out real well in a cold wash. The staff does a good job of making everyone feel welcome. It’s a locals bar and the locals don’t hate on transplants or snowbirds. They have a daily dice game that you can win for a free drink. The bartenders sometimes offer homemade buffet style food, and they have some very good talented bands. It’s open late for the young and far enough off the path as not to interfere with neighbors and parking feels good with plenty of lights for safety. It’s a fun group of people. Pool tables are maintained. Bathrooms are very clean. Plenty of air conditioning so bring a sweater if you are a freeze baby. I hate the smoke however I love seeing my guy relax and have some drinks, he’s always the first on the dancefloor and this is the only place I see him act so chill. He’s a retired Leo from NYC (30 years) somehow this place brings out his youth. Stiff drinks. Drink responsibly

Went out with my wife for a quick date night and found a fun little hideaway bar hosting Karaoke…Lola was our bartender and she was awesome and Jana was the KJ and she did a great job! Saturday’s here will be a regular stop!

Don’t show up on a day when Tom is working. Tom is stand-offish, doesn’t want to be there and gives no warning before closing the bar early. My girl and I go every week, usually a weekend or Monday/Tuesday. We spend a lot of money there. No hours posted, no 30 minute warning and we already paid for 5 songs and another game of pool with drinks. We wouldn’t have cared if we had a warning or last call, but we wouldn’t have wasted money just to be rushed out “because it was slow.” Unacceptable. Bobby always manages the bar and is friendly. Outlook needs to post hours and at least give a 30 minute warning before they close early. Tom is a piece of work. Never got back when he’s there. I wish I didn’t tip him. Rude. Want my money back.

Me and two friends stopped in here on October 21st to celebrate our birthdays. We got tore up from the floor up. Fun atmosphere, and the people that worked that night were awesome. Thanks for a great birthday celebration. After writing this review I read quite a few reviews that were posted. I cannot believe the negative reviews that some people left on this place. First of all I don’t smoke and there was no problem at all with this place. We sat up at the bar with a bunch of other people who were smoking. With all the the fans going it never even bothered me. It was very comfortable. And the bartenders were the best. Friendly and funny as hell. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate this place a 15, definitely.

So, we moved to Venice from Sarasota and let’s just say it is quite a difference in night life. We searched local bars and thought we’d give it a try. We were skeptical at first with the location then boom! We were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem!!! This place has so much entertainment to choose from. Books, ping- pong, games, and a DJ! The customers were of all ages- young, middle, and older. We had an absolute blast!!! Way to go on making a really friendly space to hang out. The people were kind and the owner was welcoming. I’d prefer non smoking but it’s not a deal breaker for me. Can’t wait to make this our bar of choice from now on!
