⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ New Year’s Eve Review
We visited last night on New Year’s Eve, and I felt compelled to leave this review, not just for the fabulous food, but for the professionalism shown by the staff.
New Year’s Eve is about the company you’re with and enjoying the moment, not expecting a rushed in-and-out service. Anyone with common sense would expect a restaurant to be extremely busy on a night like that. What was truly disappointing to witness was the behaviour of some customers. One table in particular caused unnecessary disruption, which then seemed to encourage others to start complaining about waiting times, rather than simply appreciating that it was one of the busiest nights of the year.
What stood out to us was how gracefully and professionally the staff handled it all. Despite being spoken to poorly by some customers, they remained friendly, polite, and calm, even offering complimentary drinks in an effort to keep everyone happy. Sadly, it was clear that a few people were simply trying their luck for a free meal, which was genuinely upsetting to witness and ruining the atmosphere for other customers.
Through it all, the Shapla team carried on and did the very best they could, and that deserves recognition. The food, as always, was exceptional, and worth every minute of the wait.

Lovely meal was spoilt by the table we were given. The entrance door was opening and closing all the time putting us in a cold draft constantly. Very uncomfortable and disappointing.
