A great sports bar that does their food especially good. The wings were my favorite – crispy and saucy. They also have a lot of sauce variety, so we will have to go back and try them all. If you want something a little bit out of Wichita, or if you’re driving by, this is a great place to stop for some food.

This was my first time at The Hive. Have always heard good things and I was in the area and hungry so I decided to stop in. Service was great! Our server was attentive and super friendly. Atmosphere was your typical family friendly bar and grill. Ordered a pizza and the appetizer sampler. The mushrooms and the egg rolls were tasty! The pizza was just ok. Will have to come back and try their daily specials.

Get yourself to Valley Center to enjoy The Hive. Great food, great drinks, and great vibe. The sampler gets you three appetizers for $28. It’s a steal of a deal. The southwest egg rolls are amazing. So are the wings with so many sauce options. Good service and good atmosphere.

The new ownership of The Hive have really turned that place around. Fun family friendly atmosphere. Food has been great every time….wings are excellent. But a tad over priced. As far as the chicken fry….dang it was good. Service is lacking a bit when they are busy, but the food and atmosphere make up for the shortfall in service.

This was our first visit to The Hive. We went on a Friday night when Valley Center played Derby High School in football. The place was so crowded and the staff did a nice job serving with a smile regardless of how busy they were. We ate delicious hamburgers and onion rings. Ready for another trip back!

I wish there was an option for 0 stars for service. A bar and grill that’s nearly empty, takes 5 minutes for the waitress to ask our drink order, 22 minutes to ask our food order, and another 19 minutes to receive burned food. After receiving the burned food, our waitress never came back to our table to check on food order refill our cups that were empty since before getting our food.

I enjoy eating here occasionally and food quality has always been good. They missed putting in my order, so it took almost 50 minutes to get my single order of food. They were apologetic and did comp the order. I had to take it to go. It was great meal, no complaints on taste or quality! Mistakes happen, I’ll be back!
