We at first came through the drive thru, but we didn’t know what we wanted, so we told them it’d be a minute. Then, spontaneously, their “system went down” and they asked us to go inside and order. Before we were even out of the drive thru they had someone putting a sign out to close the drive thru.
When we came in, all of the employees were standing at the front staring at me and my family. The man I can only assume is the manager sighed heavily as we came in, but then tried to make conversation with me by mentioning that he likes the Beatles (I was wearing a Beatles shirt at the time).
I ordered KFC food. My sister ordered A&W food. I ordered the classic spicy chicken sandwich, and a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. The mashed potatoes were old, I could tell. Parts of it were crunchy, other parts tasted fine. Like it had been sitting in the heat for a while. And my sandwich was soggy, they put sauce on the outside of the bun for some reason? And it overall tasted fine but was a mess. My sister got a chili dog and it was soggy and fell apart when she picked it up.
Overall this review is more for the service. It was really awkward coming in and having every single employee working there staring right at you while you order, and then having one of them sigh at me, probably hoping I wouldn’t come inside after they told me the system was down. Very disappointed. The food was passable but I won’t be coming back.

Had a hard time getting to restaurant due to road construction ( not the restaurants fault) We experienced friendly service but food was not worth what I paid for. The cheese curds are my FAVORITE!!! They forgot one of my kids’ applesauce pouches that came with a kids’ meal. Probably won’t be going here again anytime soon……

Charged me for the wrong food and did not give me a receipt then I tell them the order is wrong and they tell me I have to drive around to the front and they will bring it out to me. When they bring it out they forget my drink and tell me to drive back through the drive through and they will get it for me. I drive around and there is a line of cars I have to wait behind in line. When I finally get to the window and tell the the guy working there I never got my drink seems way annoyed I’m back because of their mistake. When I open up my bacon cheese burger it’s a dry patty with a bunch of onions and undercooked bacon. I come here often because I work near by but after this experience I think I’ll just go somewhere else. The quality of service and food keeps going down and this was it for me. 5/16/21 @ 3pm

The staff here is very lacking on politeness and personality. Chili cheese fries are just fries with a splash of cheese and some red sauce. Update….everything is cold like they just took it out of the fridge and bagged it up. Horrible place ill never eat here again.

I got an A&W order. My experience was mediocre. I asked for no pickles, and that got missed. The burger patty itself has A LOT of salt applied to it. My Sierra Mist was mostly carbonated water with very little flavoring. Finally, it was a 10 minute wait at the drive-through with no one in front or behind me (although it did look like they had some inside orders).
Pretty disappointed with this location. I like A&W, but the Roy location leaves something to be desired. 🙁
Edit: As I’m getting through my meal, I’ve found there are no napkins in the bag.

Stars i would. AWFUL
I pull up to order at drive thru. Just a coney cheese dog. Asked to add onions. She rudely said we don’t have onions (not true). I pull up. Pay. And was told to pull ahead to wait for food. 10 minutes go by. 4 cars behind get their food and leave. Finally they come out. Guess what. WRONG ORDER. she looks all confused like huh. A hot dog. Another 15 min go by. Finally they come out hand me the hot dog. I leave and guess what. Wrong hot dog. And no napkins. I will never go here again and based on other reviews, plenty say the same

They took 30 minutes to get our food out for a Togo order and our order was wrong. I asked for the missing pieces and had to wait another 20 mins. Spent over $45 and over 45 mins, by the time we were actually able to eat, everything was cold. I see why their parking lot is always empty.

We have been here before and it was fine, no wait, great root beer etc. When we went there last time though, our order was taken fairly fast.
Then we proceeded to wait 30 min for 2 burgers, 2 fries and a box of cheese curds. Even in a sit down restaurant you don’t wait that long. In-n-out at its busiest is faster than that, because they care about their costumers.
The people behind me, in front of me and everyone in the drive through was helped first. There was 6 people working, but maybe one or two actually doing work. The check out girl was way more invested in her friends that were hanging out there than paying attention to her costumers.
Also, not only did we wait 30 min, by the time we got our food is was soggy and cold… So we couldn’t even eat it. Just a horrible experience all around. Never going inside that store again, sticking to the drive through because that is the only place they will actually service you like they are a fast food restaurant.
