I called Dawn’s up last minute after straining the web for the “best cake place” in SW WA and the tip of Oregon. The unanimous decision was Dawn’s, so I phoned in.
She picked up my call at 07:13. I asked her if I could purchase one of her Hummingbird cakes and if I could pay more to have it rushed for my wife’s birthday. She said she didn’t charge extra and that I could have my cake the next day.
The customer service was superb. The cake was extraordinary. My wife is extremely happy. I do not like cake, but Dawn has made me believe there is a heaven.

Had to get a cake for a work party that was gluten free, dairy free, and coconut free. Not only was the person I talked to on the phone kind but they were very helpful guiding me to what cake would best work with the strict dietary needs of my coworkers. A little pricey at ~$50 after tax but I will admit you will absolutely get your money’s worth ordering from here. 5/5 stars and I will absolutely be back with another order the next time I need to get something baked for people with more strict dietary requirements than myself. Completely satisfied in all aspects of this order and thank you to all the kind and wonderful staff who work here!

Coffee was ok; food took a bit as it came from next door, but was pretty good; service reminded me of being in the south (very friendly but not knowledgeable and slow) ok concept for the atmosphere and glad it was a place in town to stop by during the work week.

I was blessed with a seminar today at Dawn’s Delectables. The smells of breakfast sandwiches and coffee in the morning was a lovely start. By the time it came to lunch, I couldn’t imagine what the sweet smells I was getting could be! I chose a half turkey sandwich with some clam chowder. I don’t know if it was a flavored oil on the toasted sandwich bread, or the aïoli flavor on the sandwich to what I thought I was smelling and was delicious!

So yummy… We enjoy the atmosphere and will drive an hour to get there just to sit and visit, and of course share a piece of their delicious carrot cake. It’s so moist and full of flavorful ingredients. We tried a berry cobbler this time as well and that was also delicious warmed up with vanilla ice cream on it.

I stopped here for lunch while in town for a short visit after getting off the train. The turkey and provolone sandwich with potato salad was delicious. The desserts look delicious Its a fun place within a block of Amtrak station. Would highly recommend

Don’t recommend their pumpkin chai or regular chai these are typically our go too drinks other places and I couldn’t even drink more than a couple sips

Stopped by for a coffee and loved the taste. Easy walk up window. Friendly servers.
Love there iced Carmel macchiato. Inside is amazing so much room. Even a meeting area for large groups. Tables still cleaned after every use. Which is nice to know since most restaurants don’t clean like there supposed to in covid but these people do. They even have gluten free bread and candys. Everything gluten free is marked but they would be happy to tell you what is gluten free and what’s not.

Decided to try a new place and wasnt disappointed. The turkey, bacon, pepperjack sandwich was amazing. Loved the zing with every bite. Hands down the best sandwich! Also had the banana pudding in the coffee area. Yum. Will be coming back again.

Their desserts are delicious. We love the Carrot cake and Germaine chocolate cake. Oh the Chocolate cake is also amazing. So many desserts to choose from. We just went back again to try the bread pudding. Highly recommend this shoppe.
