Place a takeout only to have a couple things not available. When I went to pick it up, it was about half the menu wasn’t available. We weren’t overly impressed with the food, and I’m really hoping it’s only because it’s new. We will give them another chance in a couple months.
The Carnitas were dry and tough, and tasted as though just roasted and microwaved. The should be braised and held in their juices. The birria tacos didn’t come with the consume like it usually does for dipping. Decent flavor but minimal meat in it. Taco and tortilla shells are fresh made, but the taco were a bit too thick. The omelet was delicious, and we had to sub chicken because they were out of plantains. The chicken was dry unfortunately. We really enjoyed the rice, both versions of beans, and the different sauces.
Service was friendly, and the inside looked nice.

This place is amazing. Hidden gem for sure. In town for a couple of days for work. Had not had any food all day long and needed something good to eat. Saw this place 8 minutes away past many restaurants and decided to give it a try. Sure glad I did. It is freaking DELICIOUS. The food is cooked upon request so it comes out Hot out of the kitchen. I was so excited to see all the choices of food I ended up ordering 2 plates of food and everything was exceptional. The horchata is legit I approve as I have had some in El Salvador, and Guatemala and it’s just like that. The pupusas are perfect. And the burrito is HUGE and just packed with flavor. You get chips salsa and queso while you wait. They have real glass bottle coke from Mexico as well just to put the cherry on top of everything. The portions are large. Honestly I could not be happier right now. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat look no further.

Food was delish! Tried empanadas, sopes, pupusas, and fried plantain. Each came with its own sauces and curtido, etc. All of them taste fresh. Sweet friendly waitress. Walked away stuffed.

Having driven by this restaurant and hearing good things for awhile… my only disappointment was not visiting here sooner. Carnitas and the chunky guac were some of the best I’ve ever had.

Papusas in Macedon NY?! Truly genuine Mexican/Central American food. Quesabirria was Y’all need to get a location in Rochester, guaranteed you’ll have a line out the door. Don’t compromise on the home-cooked taste though! That’s what none of the other Mexican places have.

Lovely restaurant, great food, the tortilla chips were so warm, and they gave us a little queso in addition to the salsa!

We’ve eaten here a few times now. I have eaten pupusas, tacos, y tamales. All were absolutely delicious and fresh. I love the canela in the tamales and salsas. The coffee is delightful too. The milk that is served with the coffee is scalded. The staff are very friendly and pleasant. I look forward to going back again and again.

Excellent pupusas and oversized kindness.

We stopped on our bicycles from the Erie Canal trail, unfortunately on a day they were closed. But the owner happened to be there cleaning, and offered to make us lunch anyway. Will definitely come back next time we are here on a day they are open!

While the service in this little hole-in-the-wall place was a little slow, it was well worth the wait! The sopes asada were amazing, fresh, handmade and delicious. I was so impressed! The rest at my table also had great food. One had tacos al pastor and it had the traditional pineapple in it that you rarely get in restaurants and you could taste it! Another had a large burrito he said was great and the last had carnitas tacos. All food fresh and homemade by a woman who runs the place. If you like traditional Mexican food, it’s definitely worth the time to go!!

The food tastes like homemade comfort food, and it’s very well seasoned. We loved the pupusas and the fajitas. The staff was very kind. We liked it better than most of the “
fancier” Mexican places in the region. We drove from Rochester just to go there and we plan to go again soon!
