Food was pretty good. Dinner entrees are pretty big and you get the salad bar and soup. They had homemade chicken dumpling (I had this, just needed a little salt and pepper) and a beef tortellini. The section of things on the salad bar are good enough to make a tasty salad.
Had the country fried steak. Decent cut off meat, no gristle, good breading, but the gravy was a little bland. Just as some salt and pepper. And they have us a boat load of fries with our meals.
Restaurant itself was pretty clean, didn’t visit the bathroom. The staff was very nice. Good dinner visit.

Good mom and pop family diner. Good food with main entrees served with soup AND salad, not soup OR salad, a definite plus. Kinda hidden off the highway but a good place for home cooking

My chicken was really greasy. But good.
Natalie was our waitress. She was great.
Sad to say but right now I would not recommend this place. This establishment needs better management and maintenance.

This place has new owners. In my opinion the food isn’t as good as it was. Next time I will not have the special . I will order off the menu. Prices have gone up considerably. The chicken soup is way off.

Good food. Nice staff, could have had a better decor and seating but over all a good family experience

Yes, that was the color of my water, no ice. This was not caused by wood reflection. This is the color: brown. Everything here is either canned or frozen. There is zero freshly cooked food here. Had the steak and fries. Was not even asked how I wanted it cooked. It came extra well done and was not edible. Fries were good, but still not fresh. Servers really don’t want to be here.

What ever you do….dont order the ribeye
!!!! Even at medium rare it was so tuff and hard you need a glass of water to get the first few bites down. Wasted $19 bucks.
Waitress was one of few words and didnt speak much . Definite no on a return visit
Embarrassed to even photo the food.

Food was amazing. Kids had chicken nuggets and fries, macaroni and cheese, and 6 silver dollar pancakes. I have French toast and bacon. Husband has chicken straps with fries and salad bar which he said both soups were outstanding. Service was on point. Will continue to be a returning customer from North Dakota.

This place isn’t flashy or spectacular but they make good food.
I chose this place because I had a long weekend of driving and was tired of fast food type places. I wanted to get away from the twin cites and eat at a “sit down” type place. This is a smaller restaurant – 2 servers could easily cover it. I had the deep fried walleye. It was prepared perfectly. The serving size was a bit smaller than I’d like but overall I was very happy with the meal. I also had the soup and salad bar. It had just the very very basics… Lettuce and the normal sides. And soup of the day. Nothing fancy.
Our server was attentive and friendly. Overall, neat little place to eat if you’re in the area. They had a plethora of burger selections but I wasn’t in the mood for them.

A basic restaurant. Is currently switching ownership so I hate to rate them. Have been here a few times. They have nice daily specials but not sure if that will continue. Small but well done salad bar. My husband loved his pressure cooked chicken. Hopefully they keep them on the menu.
