I tried the special. I was surprised with a sausage gravy versus peppered country gravy over the chicken fried steak. I was not impressed with the dried out fried corn or no butter for the bread. The red mashed potatoes were good, service was good and nice atmosphere.

Mom and I split the rib lunch special. They plated it split for us and included an extra tiny coleslaw for her and a tiny soup for me. Lunch always includes a complimentary dessert, and today’s was a chocolate fudge bar.

Came in needing some food after 65 mi on the bike. I sat at the bar and looked at the menu for a few minutes, decided on my order. The bar maid took the order of two guys who came in after me but ignored me completely. It felt like maybe I was a ghost. After a few more passes with no eye contact or even a “hello”, I pulled chocks and left. I recommend skipping this place.

We came here a little before kitchen closed and ordered before they did. The kitchen made our appetizer and then they refused to make the entree. What was the point of making part of our order and not the rest?? Servers was so nice and felt bad about the whole thing. Is this how your cooks are trained?

Our server, Jody, is a delight. I had the hot lassie burger and flat seasoned fries. Very good. My husband had the half chicken with real mashed potatoes and gravy. Looking forward to going back soon.
