Off by one star only because they didnt tell me I needed to get a fork or one in my bag, I told them this was my 2nd time coming. At least put one in there or suggest it. Other than that. Great service. That 8 mins to wait for fresh fies seemed longer than 8 mins. But they said they make everything fresh, which is a blessing. I’ll be back for sure. Look at the pictures, food was amazing.

Texas BBQ and convenience, Brisket is delicious, I like mixing some in the beans. Friendly staff, convenient location and quick service. Make sure to get all the fixins (pickles, onions, jalapenos, peppercinos and sauce) at the condiment Island to compliment your order! They also offer catering!

Decided on their poppers, rib plate and brisket sandwich. First off, great service by the young man at the counter. I’ll start with the sides because they were exceptionally good. The kettle chips included in the plates were excellent! Thick cut and crispy. Very nice touch. The green chile mac and cheese is also very good! Creamy with just a little kick. The okra was a good treat as well, crispy and well seasoned. Now for the meats, the ribs were moist and tender with a good smoke flavor coming through the only thing that could make it better is a better bbq sauce than the one they offer. I love a wet rib and this bbq sauce is pretty sweet. I’ll pass on the sauce next time. The brisket was not as moist as it could have been but it was ok. The jalapeño peppers are delicious and a must try!

I ordered the two-meat plate, ribs and sliced brisket with cole slaw and dried okra.
The okra was freshly cooked, while the Cole slaw was a bit basic it was better with salt and pepper.
Both of the meats were on the dry side. The ribs were the better tasting of the two. Dipping in the sauce brought some moisture.
The plate also came with a generous portion of thick-cut potato chips. This meal could be easily split for two smaller appetites.
This was not bad BBQ. It certainly exceeded my expectations of truck stop BBQ. If traveling, I would find this the superior option on a Sunday afternoon. The value (21$ for two meats, two sides, chips, and a drink) and the speed of service were both exceptional.
I intend to visit their other location at some point and see how they compare.

This will be the first and last visit. I had saw a pic of the loaded queso and was excited to try it. The young boy needed help and the help was in the back. Manger came out to “help” stood there and stared then asked what we had, we were still waiting to order and the only people. Ordered part of the food and was told the total we still had another meal to order there was only two of us btw. I was asked what I want on my baked potato, I’m a picky eater so I asked to see what the beans looked like,(only had to take off the lid) I was told “their just beans.” There really wasn’t enough queso to be sold but we were still sold it. Had to ask for the drink for the kids meal was told they don’t have lids for the cup. The jalapeno poppers were salty, and here is a pic of the little Mitch chopped brisket sandwich. Great presentation. I paid $42 dollars for horrible service and salty food. Would not recommend would not go back.

I stopped in around 14:00 got the chicken tenders and rib meal, The tenders were hot and juicy and the ribs were delicious, Mitch’s sauce and bbq sauce were good as well, friendly workers.
Thanks for being in a truck stop to feed us!
Love Texas!

BBQ is a disappointment. Very bland tasting. If you’re hungry run over and try the Wendy’s.
Update: Yeah don’t even bother with the BBQ. Don’t waste your money. Couldn’t finish eating due to the odd taste.

Food is great, this is my second trip. My only complaint is they need someone dedicated to the register. Took over 20mins from the time I ordered to the time I was able to check out. One lady doing sides and register during lunch rush. I think there was some confusion on how to run the register also. But the food is great. The stockpile is my go too. Five stars if the process was faster.

Stopped here today. The beans were overcooked. They were out of brisket and regular sausage. The potato salad was gross. The food was cold. The staff didn’t know how to do anything. This was at the top of lunch hour. Just horrible.
