The manager salayah needs to learn some customer service skills or be fired! She is rude and very unprofessional even if it is just Dairy Queen! Also the writing on the cake is horrible for a cake ordered a week in advance!

Ruined my birthday celebration by not having my cake ready AND being rude about it. Pick a struggle DQ.

I came in around 3pm 2/27/26 for a cake pickup I’d ordered a few days prior. Dan helped me at first and I told him the name it was under. He shouted my order to the back. After 5+ minutes a middle-aged blonde woman (Shelly) came out and acted annoyed as she questioned me about the name. I told her the name on the cake was different from the order name (not that this should matter in a reasonably organized business).

After another 5+ minutes — so 10+ minutes of cake searching between two people — he tries to ring me up WITHOUT THE CAKE. I said no, show me the cake first. (I’m thinking it doesn’t even exist at this point.) He says I have to pay first. I again said no, show me proof of life for the cake He goes in the back and eventually Shady Shelly comes back out. No smile, no apology, and disdain when I ask for their names.

She complained their cake decorator was out and insisted on trying to get me to pay again. So hold on, let’s pause: the cake decorator is out *while you also* can’t seem to find the cake, and you want me to pay before seeing it. It’s as if they were trying to wing it as non-cake decorators and force me to pay before seeing their “result”.

I said absolutely not, you’ve had 15 minutes to show me this cake. I’m done. So I left with nothing to show for it except games and Shady Shelly’s stank eye.

I have a thicker skin for customer service folks and understand the world is hard for everyone. This lady was just next-level though.

Also, looks like this lady has other complaints in the reviews. She seems bad for business. I hope they take appropriate action to improve their cake operations and customer service.

very rude cashier that took our order through the drive thru that told my mom to stop ordering when she was trying to note my sisters life threatening allergy on her blizzard. when we pulled up, they said they couldn’t do anything for my sisters allergy because of “manager policy.” at every other dairy queen, there is no guarantee that the machine can be cleaned for allergies, but we have never been treated like this when it comes to her allergy. the cashier was rude when my mom asked for her money back because they wouldn’t clean the machine. i’d give them zero stars if i could, because people that young should not be running a dairy queen at almost 9pm.

Came after receiving a giftcard for my birthday. Extremely limited room to dine in here, but there are a number of tables outside for when the weather is fair. My ice cream shake was tasty – I’d forgotten they use real strawberries – and the staff member was polite.

This is my neighborhood, Dairy Queen. I have been here many times and find it quite pleasant. It’s a small location compared to some, but certainly not smallest.
I tried one of the new summertime blizzards. It was the pic-nic peach cobbler. Wasn’t exactly what I was expecting. However, it was still rather tasty. Next time I will try another flavor.

My dad and I are celiac and have to eat gluten free so we weren’t going to be able to eat the DQ cake because of the crunch. I went in and the woman working said she could switch out the crunch for M&Ms. Not only was she able to make the cake the same day (6 hours notice) there was no additional fee for “gluten free”. I so appreciate the extra accommodations they make for their clients.

Very rude older cashier. If I wasn’t doing doordash I would never come to this dairy Queen. I literally drive drive miles out the way for a DQ treat because of this cashier. Just want to provide the name of the doordash and she just gave me back sass and lip just for saying a name. I know they were very busy. Like I said I know you’re busy. This is the name I’m waiting for. That’s it and she turned into a Karen

Great local DQ so close we can bike to it in a few minutes. Open all year round. Serves food too. I’ve only ever gotten the soft serve. Chocolate flavor too. Friendly service. Plenty of free parking. Picnic tables outdoor too. It’s nice.

Went there on Sunday at around 5:30ish. Amazing service. Shelly took my order and she was warm, kind, and incredibly fast (she had my blizzard out within a minute!). First time at this location and was very impressed with the service.

The young woman who took our order today was too busy watching the game to tend to the customers. She grudgingly got our order but seemed upset we even ordered. The blizzards we ordered were screwed up. She needs to go home and watch the game. She really doesn’t want to be there.
