A hidden gem. One of the best Indian Food restaurant we’ve been to. Prices were reasonable, food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and hospitable. If you’re not into Indian food, there some American options. I wouldn’t recommend the crepes though. But all the Indian food we had was flavorful and delicious. There’s lots of tables and a buffet at certain hours. And lots of free parking.

Disappointed with the 3/4 quantity of the malai kofta in my to-go order. Also, it’s weird that both entrées I ordered – paneer tikka masala and malai kofta, had the same curry base and very similar taste.
Food: 2/5

I went in for the lunch buffet and, unfortunately, the food seemed cold and like it had been sitting out for quite a while. We arrived around 1:45 PM, and since the buffet runs until 3:30 PM, I was expecting the food to still be relatively fresh. There weren’t many portions out to begin with, and several items were missing protein altogether. When we asked the servers if fresher trays could be brought out, it didn’t seem to make much of a difference.

That said, I genuinely like this place. They offer great weekly deals, are open late, and it’s a spot I want to continue supporting. Because of that, I wanted to offer some constructive feedback. If the lunch buffet isn’t drawing enough traffic to justify constantly replenishing it, I’d suggest switching to a made-to-order lunch menu, similar to Koizi’s model. This would reduce food waste, allow the kitchen to better control quality, and give customers a fresher, more enjoyable experience.

One last note: the mango juice tasted heavily diluted. I’d strongly recommend either serving it without added water or switching to a clearly labeled powdered drink instead, as the current version was disappointing.

Overall, I hope this feedback is taken in the spirit it’s intended. I really do like this restaurant and would love to see the lunch experience match the quality I know they’re capable of.

A Perfect Start in Tampa!

This was our very first meal in Tampa—and wow, what a way to begin! The food was absolutely phenomenal, with rich, unforgettable flavors in every bite. The owner was so polite, and the staff was incredibly respectful and welcoming. Truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had!

Food is good, not the greatest but it’s ok, however service is very slow and not organized. The places vibe are very boring. Don’t think will be there again.

NEVER AGAIN! We ordered the chicken Biryani family pack, but honestly, I don’t know how this could be called Biryani anymore. The quality has really dropped. We stored it properly and only opened it right before dinner, but it was already stale and had a strong, unpleasant smell. It felt like it was leftover from their buffet. I wish there was an option to give zero stars because this was one of the worst Indian food experiences I’ve had. A total waste of both time and money.

Update review:
There’s been a price change to $19.99 for the weekend buffet. Lunch buffet close at 3:30pm today, I was in around 2:40 and there no more tea left. I was told they will not make anymore since the kitchen is closing. I have seen food being brought out after the request and they are not going to make anymore tea is pretty much what they are saying. I didn’t have to drive over for 45 min and pay more than before to get “No tea”. I wouldn’t have sat down if they told me that’s the situation. Pretty disappointed I have to say. I might be back less until I crave Indian again. (I wasn’t craving today but hoping they have goat and mango mousse and my Chai, 2 out of 3 wasn’t there…) regretting coming in today.

Old review:
Excellent lunch buffet on weekends. I can’t say it’s the best Indian restaurant but it’s one that made me break my record of eating Indian food 3 times in a month. It’s hard to find an Indian buffet after Covid and I found Desi Flavors by accident and persistent research (after my usual restaurant sold to another chain). Desi Flavors got my favorite Indian Chai / tea and the combination led me to try it out. It met my expectations with tea and the varieties in the buffet. There was food that I never tried before each time I come (it’s the 3rd time today). Btw, Chai comes with the buffet and I chugged it bc it’s so good. On my second visit I brought my friends and they had mango mousses (that’s out of this world tasty) They have some stables and change up some each time. My first time here, I didn’t see any paneer dish. I love most of their desserts and some dishes are sorta fusion. I read some reviews before coming so my expectations weren’t crazy high during my visits. Their food isn’t piping hot but they were refilled quickly and seemed fresh since I was here when they just started service. Their nan isn’t the clay oven puffy type but given the overall quality and diversity, I can live without it. Besides the free Chai with weekend lunch buffet, there’s also free lemonade or some sort of flavor beverage next to the Chai. Anyone who lives nearby is lucky as I live almost an hour away. I highly recommend trying this hole in the wall if you like Chai and Indian buffets. I appreciate them for being around and providing options. Some dishes could be a bit spicy, try a bit to see what you like if it’s a concern. Most of the food is flavorful, some a tad more spicy, but nothing I can’t handle with yogurt to balance it out. $18.26 after tax.

I love this place so much, I go at least once a week. The portion sizes are generous and the foodis amazing. I pretty much only order the butter chicken with garlic naan and get a mango lassi every now and then. Im a bit of a spice fiend so I order the butter chicken extra spicy ×2.5. I’ve found it’s the perfect balance of spiciness and butter chicken flavor. The naan is very good and mango lassi is the best treat for afterwards. I want to try other dishes, but can’t get over how amazing the super spicy butter chicken is order is. I’ve had Indian food at many places in Tampa, but this is hands down the best.
