Our party of 11 people on a Friday evening stopped by Pizza World for a family dinner and received exactly what we expected.
The Star of the Show: The Pizza! You can just tell the dough is made fresh. It has that perfect chew and a delicious, crispy crust. We tried a couple of different kinds, and both were loaded with quality ingredients toppings. That taco pizza was a fun and tasty twist, and the classic meat-GRANDE heavy one was cooked to perfection—a definite win for any pizza lover.
Hops for Days! If you’re an IPA fan, you’ll be very happy here. Voodo brewing company beers galore! They have a fantastic craft beer selection. I had the Hazy Vibes IPA, and it was delicious– a perfect pairing with the pizza. It’s great to see a place that cares as much about their beer as they do their food.
The Vibe & Service: The staff was super friendly and on top of everything from the moment we walked in. Our food came out promptly, and the atmosphere was just right – relaxed and welcoming. It’s the good spot to bring the family or meet up with friends for a great meal. Or, catch a game, etc.
I imagine will be back. If you’re looking for amazing pizza and a great local spot to relax, you have to check out Pizza World!

Went here for lunch on Saturday at 11am. They just opened up so line was short. We ordered a pizza and appetizer of garlic cheese bread it was amazing. Then ordered a flight of beer from voo doo brewery which was awesome. Will definitely be coming back soon to try more.

Nice restaurant with limited seating. Lunch specials are fast good deals. Pizza is awesome! Cheese sticks are awesome! Thin and hand tossed are very good and baked perfect. If you dine in, making great pizzas takes time. This ain’t Pizza Hut. Pepsi fountain pop is good and I like the pelletized ice.

We have been to Pizza World a few times, always good service good food but the wait times are horrible. We came in at 6:00 p.m. on a Tuesday with 1 10 top and 1 4 top seated and some on line orders I’m sure. ..we were a party of 6, 4 adults 2 kids…we ordered four pasta dishes and 2 small pizzas (cheese)…when I say we waited close to 90 minutes that is the truth..I am so disappointed. I brought my friends here for the first time always talking about how great everything is, then we wait an hour and half with 2 3 year olds..

So I’ve been to this restaurant now twice and I’ve had their pizza more than once. Their food and drinks are amazing! The atmosphere of the restaurant is also really nice. When I went in this last time, I didn’t end up getting the order I’d asked for which normally would make me upset But when we went back to get our corrected order, they generously gave us free cheese sticks, and it really just made our night. I highly recommend this place and the great crew they have! They really treat you like family. Thank you for the excellent service!

Pizza come out a little crisper than any of us preferred but it was still good pizza. Change the Texas BBQ to brisket , mozzarella , red onion , cilantro with a sticky honey BBQ sauce and then its truly a Texas BBQ pizza. Grew up in Cedar Rapids and moved to Houston Texas 25 years ago. Was in town visiting family .

We had a gift card for Pizza World so we thought we would try it on our date night.
They offer dairy-free and vegan free options.
Jim got the the Bacon Cheeseburger small pizza with the dairy free cheese option. He liked the tangy taste of the pizza sauce. Crust was crisp with a good flavor. The cheese was tasty and it melted nicely.
I tried the Amora Roma small pizza. This pizza had pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms and black olives. The mushrooms were NOT the canned type. Freshly cut with a good flavor. My crust was a bit soggy and I needed LOTS of napkins.
The staff was helpful and pleasant.
The only thing that I didn’t like were the napkins. They were so thin and small that one wipe of your hands, you needed another to wipe your mouth. That is way I needed lots of them.
We will go back because they offer dairy free options.

The pizza was terrible. Overcooked and the crust was like the box it came in. We ordered buffalo wings and they were also overcooked, borderline burnt. They had almost no sauce so why even have options. We moved out here for work with approximately 300 others. We share experiences with local restaurants and make recommendations, and revisit places we like. We will definitely not recommend this establishment.

First timer! Had family over and needed to fill tummies from age of 1 to 73. We went with good ole half peperoni and half sausage then pepperoni, pineapple, red onion and other half sausage and mushroom. 20 buffalo wings and cheese breadsticks. All were good, but ordered one with olive oil instead of sauce and was very dry..will not do that again. We all agreed we would like to try more variety from them, salads sound good and blue cheese dressing with wings was exceptional. Flavor of buffalo wings was satisfyingly garlicky and just enough heat without burning your tastebuds.
