Made to order quick Chinese food. I got walnut shrimp. It came with a side of rice. The shrimp was a decent size. Coconut and flavor was on point. My only complaint was the portion. It was deceiving because the bottom of the container was a layer of wonton chips. That was unnecessary. I would have preferred it to be all walnut and shrimp.

This place also serves boba milk tea and dim sum!

Your average boba plus they have a lot of other good things on their menu that many would love. Fruit chunks they’re a little bit too big you can’t get into the large straw, then you’re stuck trying to fish him out of the ice after you’re done with your drink.

Food was good, we ordered the Mongolian Beef, Crab Rangoon, and Tofu Chow Mein. Would have loved to have tasted more crab in my Crab Rangoon, but other than that, food tasted good. Service was good too, took about ten minutes to get our food which was average. Atmosphere at the Wind Mill Food Hall is great, a must see for first timers as there are many places to choose from!

I have been here before with a good experience and good food but this time was not acceptable. I ordered 2 items with one of them being chow fun with chicken. I got the order to go and went home only to find out instead of chicken I was given tofu. Drove back and the lady cashier (Anotai) asked If I wanted my money back or for it to be remade. I asked for it to be remade and sat on the chair in front of business for another 10 minutes. I looked up at the counter and the bag was sitting there and she pointed to it while just standing behind the counter. During this whole process she never apologized for the mistake. Quite upsetting customer service.

The Boba drinks are wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

I have had their mango special first and loved every drop. It tasted like a mango yogurt. Very light, taste and sweet.

Second I had the watermelon cream and loved everything especially it’s presentation. For 7 dollars you really walk away impressed with it’s massive size. they decorated it with a watermelon slice.

The watermelon slice is a great touch!

Went to the Windmill Food Hall in Carlsbad to find something to try and spotted Secret Sauce Wok & Grill. Presentation wise in the food hall the Secret Sauce spot is a small spot but has appeal as I’m thinking the main focus is on making their food. At least I thought.

The dishes I all got needed salt and flavor. Even butter has some accents to it when food is cooked in it. All of this must of been streamed or something, cause there was no indication of cooking with oil or butter.

Got the Pork & Shrimp Lumpia, Purple Taro w/Honey Boba, and thatt day their special was Salt & Garlic Chicken Wings. The Pork and Shrimp Lumpia…no flavor. The Salt and Garlic chicken wings were precooked and reheated. The breading didn’t have any crunch and there was little to no savory flavor to be found. Even the Garlic was near unnoticeable. The drink, Purple Taro w/ Honey Boba was ok for about half-way, but turned into pure milk. Even shaking and mixing the drink frequently couldn’t help it. I threw away about a third of the drink left cause it was straight milk and no flavor.

For the quality of food and price charged per plate, this is a spot I would not come back to.

Have been going when I would have free time on my 30min break from work. The food is hot and flavorful which is a huge push through the day, highly recommend their egg drop soup and pan friend pork dumplings. There drink selection is amazing with great tea, lemonade, and boba options.
