This was the best cup of coffee (I had their cafe au laut with the Cuban beans) I had in a week of travels in florida. The couple who runs this shop (his name is Fernando, I didn’t get hers) are some of the kindest people we’ve met on our travels, so please visit them and MAKE SURE to see the nursery beside the restaurant. And if you’re thirsty or hungry they were cutting open and selling their Coconuts for a good price (Fernando gives you a straw first then cuts the meat out once you’ve drunk the water), meander through the beautiful garden and sip

This breakfast spot is an absolute gem! The space is spacious, spotless, and very welcoming—perfect for a relaxed morning meal. The owner is incredibly kind and attentive, providing excellent customer service that really makes you feel appreciated. The Honduran breakfast was perfectly done and full of authentic flavor, and the café con leche was rich, smooth, and delicious. Everything from the food to the atmosphere exceeded expectations. Overall, a solid 10 out of 10—highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Terrible experience. The pancakes were raw in the middle, and when I asked for maple syrup, they gave me honey instead. The food was disappointing and felt rushed. Definitely not worth it – 1/10.

From Miami and staying at Cheeca when this place came on my radar and happy to say these are the best baleadas I have had in at least the last two years, maybe more. Beats any place in South Florida rn!

We stopped in during the Sunday market and ordered breakfast. The bacon was high quality and the food was cooked perfectly.
The iced coffee is the best we’ve had on Matacumbe and we’ve been to all the buzz spots. ☕️ We just discovered them 2 days ago and have been back twice.
There may be a language barrier for some but they also have a photo menu on the counter to order from. Do not let it deter you.

Great food, great service, and an amazing REAL garden! The food was the best part, the garden was a close second!

A Fantastic little gem! They have a pretty large garden next to the restaurant that you can sit in. It’s both beautiful and quirky. The food was excellent, and the staff seemed to take real joy in making it and sharing it. I told the lady who served us that I didn’t know anything about Honduran food and she told me all about what they made and said the menu was just a suggestion, but she would make us anything we wanted, and then made a custom plate for me. Not expensive either.
