The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

Been coming here for a couple of years now because I love their wings! They are both crispy and flavorful. Always hot and fresh when I get mine. My go-to is usually the spicy crispy wings.

I love BbQ chicken ! It’s my third time – once on college Ave and twice at convoy both were amazing and this time I tried the rose bodoki delicious I went with a recommendation from the man who took my order at convoy the honey garlic it was incredible. Great recommendation he was very patient and helpful , the restaurant was so clean and great friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend! Both locations great chicken and kind staff

Walked in there today at 130 to grab some food, besides it smelling like cigarettes in there, there was only one table occupied so the place was empty. Stood at the counter for a minute and some young lady in the back kitchen just stared and didnt say anything. I walked out and found a delicious SZECHUAN restaurant that served really good Chinese food.

Great service and great food. Love the 36 oz. Sapporo beer. Watch out because the spiciest really really spicy.
Also, the restrooms are very clean.

First time trying this spot,.think it’s the fourth KFC (as in, Korean Fried Chicken) spot I’ve visited. The food is really great! The only thing I might complain about is the service time, they were not super busy but the wait staff took some time to seat us, a party of 3, while we awkwardly stood at the front next to an empty waitlist. I also might not have been specific enough, but they charged me for a sandwich and sweet potato fries outside the combo price (though also partially my fault for not noticing we were outside the time frame, I did mention combo and they did not correct me). Just something to be careful of next time!
Pictured are the food options we grabbed, definitely solid food choices. The spot was very clean and had tons of space to sit, the parking was also lucky for a Sunday early evening compared to usually around Convoy.
The family combo 2 is a bit restrictive in flavor choices (half has to be original, and the other half their secret sauce), but it’s still plenty of food alone. We grabbed a ton more appetizers just to get a feel of the place. First time I’ve had kimchi rice and it didn’t disappoint (I normally avoid kimchi, but I decided to give it a shot). Cheese balls are always good, the corn salad was certainly similar to esquites, and the corn cheese was an improvement over the kind you normally get at a kbbq.
I’d definitely give this spot a try if you happen to be nearby, but maybe try the other chicken dishes since you can pick their variety of flavors.

This place has been my go-to Korean fried chicken. However, our recent takeout experience wasn’t so good. Partially, I think I have too high of experience but just want to share my review.
By all means, the gangnam chicken wings were still tasty but wings were smaller than before. The chicken sandwich was spicy but not crispy enough and lack of other flavors. I might start making trips to other joints.

I placed my order online using the door dash. The server forgot to put my radish in my to-go order….
When I asked for untencil, he said it doesn’t come with unless I ask for it. Felt like that wasn’t really necessary statement since I already marked for it when I placed an order.

Visiting family from the East Coast and my daughter took me here today. I was stationed in Daegu South Korea for 2 years while in the Army. we used to get bb.q chicken almost every weekend. The kids loved it and so did I. This was my first time having it in 8 years and it immediately brought me back to being in Daegu. The food was amazing and brought us right back to being there. I highly recommend you check them out, you won’t regret it!

They have THE BEST wings in San Diego hands down in my opinion. The honey garlic and soy garlic are my two favorite flavors. They are perfectly crispy every single time and nice and saucy. The best part about their wings is they don’t get soggy. I would 100/10 recommend trying bb.q chicken.

The man was so nice right when we came in, he asked if we were 3 to be seated. We said we were getting take out. He was very patient because I couldn’t decide what I wanted to order and he answered my question about the sweetness level very nicely. He was so polite and told us out special sauce boneless chicken with a side of fries would be 20 minutes. We left and when I came to pick it up 15 minutes later it was ready. He gave it to me so nicely and asked if I wanted some utensils. He even remember there were 3 of us so he asked if I wanted 3 utensils and I said yes please. It was a very pleasant experience I was so happy and I felt good to order from a place that has such nice workers!
