Laid-back eatery with colorful, surf-inspired decor offering specialty pizzas, burritos & beer.

My Big Kahuna Burrito was disgusting. What little chicken was in it was questionable. Plenty of rice though. Basically a rice burrito. The server wasn’t particularly concerned that I was unhappy with my meal. I almost always finish my plate, no matter what. I threw in the towel halfway through the meal.
Huge disappointment.
Cash or check only.
Don’t bother.

We spent the winter holiday (2025) in The Berkshires, MA and stumbled across this place. As a family, we are BIG on shopping and supporting local places. This place was AMAZING! The atmosphere was a vibe of its own. The employees, especially Taylor, were the very best. The food was amazing – we tried the Meatsa Meatsa Pizza and we had, who may have been the owner, make up some of their popular wings. Then, we added a spicy sauce based on Taylor’s recommendation … Y’all – this place is what dreams are made of! We cannot recommend this place enough!!!

Good food. Good service. We had a group of 14, and the server did fantastic with our large group order. We also had pizza from them that night to go which was good NY style pizza. Typical prices. Good size portions. The server did get a little worked up when we first walked in, and commented she didn’t want us taking up all the tables, which made no sense because a paying customer is a paying customer. If it wasn’t the only place open we would have walked out, BUT she made up for it with great, polite, organized, efficient service. Very casual, tiki surf shack style.

Over the last couple of years, the quality of the food and service has declined and the prices have increased too much. The burritos hardly have any meat or veggies or taste. I can make a burrito at home 10x better. The pizza quality has also suffered in recent years – not worth the high dollar amounts. They don’t care – they only care about catering to city folks who are used to paying inflated prices. Needs new ownership.

Maybe I got unlucky that night but the two slices of pizza I ordered were rather dry and not very savory. Staff is cordial and efficient. Yet, “the cash or check only” demand is rather outdated and annoying in a small town with very few ATMs.

Good pizza. Surfer decor makes for a chill, easy vibe. I like that they can have any style of pizza ready as a single slice. A little too much red sauce for my taste. But overall, really good experience. Will come back. Definitley recommend.

The selection you can get at this pizza shack is pretty good and affordable, which is something you need in these times. I was surprised how big the individual slice was for $3.50 and the cohesion of the ingredients. Even the spinach they did well on the pizza; a tricky thing to get right. I also had their Greek salad, which had plenty of toppings. Only reason I’m giving them 4 and not a 5 is because the first time I tried ordering takeout, I was put on hold for more than five minutes and ended up having to choose something else. Glad I tried it, though.

Your prices have gotten TOO expensive. So unfortunately I won’t be a customer anymore. $6 for a slice?!? Your pizza is good, but not THAT good. Seriously $6! And you’re taking away tips from your employees – no wonder you have a hard time keeping people. The guy with the comment about the BK burrito is so right – it’s just a clump of dry rice and cheese. YOu have to hunt to find a piece of chicken. Just dreadful. This place needs a new owner.

Great pizza, decent beer list. My husband and I were just passing through town and stopped here for lunch. Very glad we did! The pizza was really good, they have a great selection for toppings, and I love the by the slice option! It was just the right amount of food for lunch! The rest of the clientele were high schoolers though, so I did feel a little out of place, but they do have beer, so I know it’s not just a high school spot. Would definitely stop in again if back in the area!
