Cold Spring is a charming little coffee shop with really good coffee and fresh, delicious pastries. I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere—it’s a nice place to relax, catch up on work, or just take a quiet break. The staff were friendly, and everything felt welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

There lattes are always reliable well made. Their savory pastries are my favorites around here. I always make a stop when in town. They have a quaint back space that is delightful in autumn and spring.

From the wide plank floors, to the folksy/jazzy music, to the couple arguing about the nature of modernism (in French), the vibe of this place is perfect. It certainly doesn’t hurt that the coffee roast was exquisite, the staff knew what they were talking about and the pastries melted in the mouth.
I felt comfortable here and will go back anytime I’m in town.

I recently visited Cold Spring Coffee, and the bakery was fresh and inviting. It was busy because of the weekend, but the service was great. The staff took the time to explain the ingredients in each pastry, which I really appreciated. Since it’s fall, many of the bakery’s offerings had apple flavors, and I tried the original scone and apple muffin—both were delicious. Definitely a cozy spot for fresh baked goods and seasonal treats!

I don’t want to leave an extremely negative review because I didn’t even try anything here, but it’s worth noting that I waited for 15 minutes on line, super excited to try something here, but while I was waiting on line, I noticed that flies were going in and out of the display and landing on the bakery items on the top shelf.

I was still going to stomach it and hope that they weren’t landing on the jelly donuts on the bottom shelf, but when I finally got to the front of the line, I noticed that there was a fly on one too.

I ended up just walking out after waiting so long and was super disappointed because I actually wanted to try one.

You guys should really get a display case with a sliding glass door on the back. This would have been two separate health code violations in NYC.

The girls behind the counter were definitely more concerned with talking to each other than attending to customers. We got two lattes and a bacon egg and cheese pretzel bagel. They gave it to us completely cold. Bit into a VERY salty bite. Then got to stone cold egg. I couldn’t even eat it. It was awful. I thought about going inside and asking for my money back and I never do that. Instead I just put it on top of the garbage outside for the birds. Coffee was ok.

Edit: after the owners replied to this review I would like to respond. The young people you employ were not paying attention to any of the customers. I didn’t feel like we’re receptive to hearing a complaint. Also, it was our first time in your establishment. Maybe, your employee should have ask if I wanted it heated up. I would have said yes. I post when things are good and when things are bad.

Cute, COZY cafe with restroom and plethora of pastries!

Got the Egg and Cheese Cruffin (which was essentially a croissant with a full egg baked into it- kind of odd).

But the space is very nice! Plenty of seating and some warm natural light too!

i enjoyed my visit here today! great location on Main Street. good service. i had an iced s’mores latte and a cider donut, both were super delicious! only complaint was that it was super hot inside. we decided to sit outside so it doesn’t take away from my rating. i highly recommend stopping by!

The coffee shop is really nice but I don’t think my sandwich was worth $13.50. The pastries were really good: the cookie, brownie, scones, and croissants were amazing. The staff was nice and I would come back here again!

Reviews say there are great vegan options – when I went in (traveled up from the city) – the employees acted like I was crazy for asking if anything was vegan (answer was no), rolled their eyes at me and said “no clue” when I asked if there was anywhere nearby with vegan options. So unfriendly that I didn’t even want to get coffee. Terrible service.
