Ashoka Muirhead was a great experience. The servers were really kind and welcoming as well as prompt. They had great knowledge of the menu and it made ordering easy. We opted for a selection of starters with my personal stand out being the tandoori salmon. The mains we opted for were a combination of chicken and lamb dishes. The highlight was probably the chicken tikka desi jalfrezi. The spice levels were perfect and the pedhwari naan was also excellent. You’ll find it difficult to get such great quality and portions for a good price elsewhere. Would and will most definitely return.

First time visiting here with the wife and had a lovely meal. Staff were lovely and chatted through various options, never felt rushed or that we were asking silly questions. Food was top drawer. Service excellent and all reasonably priced.
Also, after our dinner we went next door to the bar, which I never knew was there. Could happily return there just to watch sports and play pool, good set up.
Halloween decor was also good and deserves a mentioned.

Chaitali and all the staff members are amazing. I have been coming to this restaurant from day. Great variety for my Vegetarian friends. Prices and the portion size are the best. Also, they have a pool table and a lovely bar to hang out. Can’t praise and recommend enough. Always a brilliant experience.

Pre-ordered quite a large order for takeaway for a family catch up. Food arrived bang on time. Delivery was about 5mins from the place.
The 4 portions of pakora and 2 chips were completely cold and soggy. Portion sizes seemed small in comparison to other places.
All 3 nann breads also cold.
Curries and rice all had some heat but the south indian chilli chicken was definitely not what you would expect, it came more like a sweet and sour sauce, no chilli. Chicken tikka chasni was again not a chasni by any means. It was more like the korma we also got a md so was wasted. The lamb in the korma or bhoona didnt look like lamb and the chicken tikka that was requested in all other dishes was definitely not tikka.
The masala again not as you’d expect a masala but at least didnt go to waste. The only one thing that someone actually enjoyed was the rogan josh sauce.
To top it off the popadoms arrived completely crushed and also looked a bit short.
It was my first experience of ashoka and I certainly will not be back.

We absolutely love Ashoka Muirhead. Every visit feels special because the team genuinely look after us like family. A huge shout-out to Chaitali, who is simply brilliant, attentive, warm, and always making sure my whole family is well looked after.
The food just keeps getting better and better. The Railway Lamb Curry is absolutely fantastic, rich, comforting, and full of flavour, while my wife swears by the Kick Ass Chicken Sizzler. What a dish! Packed with taste and perfectly cooked every time.
Great food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended, we’ll keep coming back without a doubt.

A meal for on a Tuesday evening. The food was DELISH! Great portion sizes , service was perfect and had not a single complaint about the meal/service and that’s a lot coming from us

Devanshi was our server on our first 5pm meal deal. It was excellent service food choices and portions were great. Creamy Jalfrezi and Karahi Bhuna both very tasty. To be honest we were so surprised at the quality of food. We will definitely be back
