We wanted to go out for a family lunch after my son’s recital. Since he is learning Russian- I thought this place would be fun! Amazing halal restaurant in the area! We ordered the Rosemary Naan, Shurpa Soup, Uzbek Pilov, Lagman Rameen, Manti, Salmon, Baklava, Kompot Punch and Tea. The owners chatted with us the entire time like we were eating at a friend’s house! Great find!

My husband’s coworker told us about this place and we drove 40 minutes to try it out. I would definitely come back. The food is amazing, atmosphere is great, and the service was fantastic. Very friendly people.

What a great find! We tried the Uzbek Lagman, Uzbek Pilov, and Chicken Over Rice, and each had its own distinct taste, all very good. The portions were generous, the prices reasonable, and the gentleman who seemed to be the owner was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was spotless, including the restroom, which says a lot about how well the place is cared for. Our friend visiting from Serbia was also very impressed. We’ll definitely be back.

I’ve been to Alons Halal Uzbek Grill a few times now, and the leg of lamb I got today was one of the best things I’ve had from them. Super tender, great flavor, and cooked perfectly all the way through. These guys are really consistent — every time I come, the food hits. Portions are solid, service is quick, and the quality never drops. Definitely one of my go-to spots.

Nice to see uzbek cuisine in upstate NY. Just randomly saw this place online and decided to stop by for dinner. Nice atmosphere and the food was overall good. I had the chicken sandwich/doner which was delicious full of flavor. Clean and fully renovated restaurant. Chicken kabob was also great.

On my travels I found this little gem was as pleasant an experience as I’ve ever had.
The moment I walked in I was made to feel right at home the staff is awesome.
I got the lamb over rice to go and the dish was robust, aromatic and delicious.
I definitely will be back

Stopped by this place randomly, service was excellent, had gyro sandwich, 2 types of soup, kebabs, salads and tea with lemon and fruits. Everything was so fresh and amazingly delicious. Chicken kebabs were so soft and tender, gyro sandwich was awesome with homemade sauce. Kids loved potato wedgies which they make in house with clean ingredients. Definitely recommend.

Never had food from Uzbekistan but this is a MUST TRY!! I would say it’s a mix between Indian & Arab food but w/it’s own vibe. Started w/ falafel & chebureki (a cross between an empanada & dumpling) and was pleasantly surprised- both were delicious & im very picky w/falafel since im of Arab descent, very authentic! We tried the Lamb shurpa(not all soup person but so many nice flavors, so good) & the Lamb Pilov, which is one of the most different & delicious things I’ve eaten in a long time!! We paired this w/their hot tea which was so flavorful, it didnt even need sweetener! The family that owns this restaurant are so sweet, they make you feel like you came to their beautiful, clean house for dinner This is a MUST try hidden gem for anyone that enjoys Mediterranean or Indian food & wants something different and super affordable, I will be back WHENEVER I CAN

What a wonderful experience! Sobir was a delight, the food was exceptional, and we’ve been dreaming about the plov ever since. We had never had Uzbek food before, and now it’s all we can think about. There is the time before we tried Uzbek food and then there is now. We have been changed for good. 12/10 highly recommend!!
