WARNING. DO NOT EAT HERE.
I was there 1/28/26
Not only that dine in service was horrible, I was given a soup with dish water and pieces of green scour pad in it. I know what it is becuase I work with them and also have them at home. Didnt notice it until I got the the end of my soup. My partner admitted a week later that there were eye lashes in their food. We are praying they were only eye lashes. This waitress hates customers and will mess with your food.
I should have taken the used spoon with lipstick as a red flag but I really wanted to give this place a chance. And she even complimented me saying in spanish “thats the way youre supposed to eat good soup” because i was drinking my soup out of the bowl. This lady was so petty for no reason. I know i did nothing wrong, we greeted her first, didnt demand, didnt give her a stink face, didnt burden her for another spoon, just existed. It’s been a week and I’m still battling diarrhea. I should have taken pictures but I didn’t. And I didnt say anything to the waitress because confrontation is not my forte.
Prices are blacked out, no receipt given.
She charged us $55 for two tamales, soup, a bean and platano plate.
Owner needs to fire her, sue her, or close this place down.
You’ll know who the waitress is, she has no eye lashes.

I recently visited a Guatemalan restaurant in Harbor City and had an incredible experience! As someone who had never tried Guatemalan food before, I was unsure of what to order. The waitress was super helpful and gave great suggestions. I ended up trying the garnachas, tostadas, and Guatemalan tamales.
The garnachas were definitely my favorite—kind of salty but so delicious! The flavors were rich, and I loved the texture. The tostadas were great as well, crunchy and tasty. However, the tamale wasn’t quite to my taste, but it wasn’t bad—it just wasn’t my favorite compared to the other dishes.
Overall, the food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to try Guatemalan cuisine!

Had not been here in years. The food was right down delicious and the service super friendly and very, very good. Recommend you try this place if you like central american cuisine, and or if you haven’t had it. You may just be pleasantly surprised.

The owner needs to retrain the unfriendly, rude waitress that was working on 5/31/25 at around 9:30am. She never greeted us with a simple hello, good morning, or even a fake smile. She was super unpleasant to talk to and couldn’t even answer a simple question politely. My husband asked her which chocolate was made with milk and which was made with water since we ordered one of each and they both looked the same. She looked at him in complete awkward silence and then answered sarcastically. I asked for them to add eggs to my food which they did not but I did not even want to say anything because every interaction with the waitress was uncomfortable. She was mad the whole time and simply stated that’s how she is. The food took a ridiculous amount of time to come out and when it did it was cold. We were literally the only guests there at this time. To top it off, we ended up paying $99 for 3 orders of eggs with beans, 1 tamal, 1 torta, 2 hot chocolates, 2 coffees, 3 pieces of pan dulce and a bad experience with a mean waitress. Customer service is not her forte or maybe she was having a bad day but she definitely ruined our breakfast.

The plaza needs to add more parking spots. The woman in the bakery was very rude and demandede to move away from the bakery. I could not wait for my parents who were in the day care center next to them. I know they need business, but it is not customer’s job to figure it out for them.

I really wanted to like this place. A lady approached me at the front register and I told her what I wanted. Besides that I also asked her about the plantain plates they had and she thought I said plates. She says “well it’s everything there on the picture”. Basically didn’t want to answer my question and to look myself. Then I told her I didn’t know the menu very well and it was my first time. ♀️ immediate turnoff. She had no face expression and energy was off. I didn’t like her lack of effort. Even if I did ask about the plates, you’re the expert, why not guide someone to making the right choice. $28 for 3 bolillos with beans and a order of plantains. Math wasn’t mathing but at that point I just wanted to leave.

The food was ok. I asked for the Antigua plate but honestly the chorizos were flavorless. The meet was ok. The plantains and the fried beans were the only actual really good thing. The tostadas we’re ok. The only thing that I actually find really nice is the fact they give you tostadas with beans (frijoles molidos) and salsa instead of chips.
The place was ok. Not coming back again tho, lol. By the way, the outside is under construction, we thought it was closed but it is open for business. The place is clean, but they did not have seat covers in the bathroom, although it was really clean.
