Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was top-notch as well. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was perfect throughout my visit.
Another big plus is the 90 minute free parking near by , which made my experience even more convenient and stress-free.
All in all, I highly recommend Kafal Restaurant to anyone craving delicious Indian or Nepali dishes in a welcoming atmosphere. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed
– Veg Momo – Not very good. Thick coating and filling was ok.
– Veg platter for 2:
It had assorted appetizers which had samosa, mix pakora and veg pakora. Mix pakora won the show, they were so crispy and flavorful. Paneer pakora were somewhat bland but all in all crispy. Samosa was pretty below average, but everything was served hot, so it was fine.
For the entrees we got chana masala: Not very great for a north indian palette and kadhai paneer: This was the show stopper for me. Absolutely delicious and mouth watering. The naan that came along was fresh, hot and made well.
For dessert we got carrot pudding: Did not like the flavor and the way it was made. If you are used to having it with milk or khoa, I would recommend skipping it here.
Customer service was good. Ambience is ok, nothing special.
All in all a good place to give a tru when in area.
So far we’ve been here twice and ordered Veg. assorted appetizers (mostly mild), Mixed Veg Korma (flavorful), Laccha paratha (filling) and vegetable fried rice (simple and very mild and needs a side). I listed them in the order of taste preference.
Second time we repeated most items but added Malai Kofta which was awesome, similar to korma but very rich and this time we tried medium spicy which was so good!
They seem to have retained the authenticity with a choice in spice levels which is awesome with kids. Love the place!
