The rice and peas, along with the collards, were tasty, cooked properly, and seasoned with a good amount of heat. The jerk chicken, however, was hammered dry, tough, and nearly impossible to eat. Unfortunately, even the meat pies were also dry, lifeless leaving us wondering how this restaurant hopes to survive.

Overall, the food was good! This was my first time visiting I had the oxtails, red beans & rice & cabbage….the flavor profile wasn’t bad but I think I looking for a different taste. The food was very authentic and there were several first timers and a few regular customers there at the time I visited. The beef patty was very spicy! I don’t recommend that level of spice for kids I’m glad I tasted before sharing with a child. If I had to give a rating on a number scale I’ll give it a 7.5 out of 10
