We stayed at the Sirata and loved having Rum Runners right there on St. Pete Beach. Great drinks, friendly staff, and live music made it the perfect spot to relax after a beach day. The sunset views and casual vibe made it easy to feel like you’re on vacation. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Beach bars are not fine dining but they have their place. Some are better than most and this one is one of them. Here the food is much better than the usual beach bar. Service was prompt professional and appropriate. Lots of shade looking out over the Gulf waters is what it’s all about. Seemed clean and the cost was just about right. Overall, great value for a lunch on the beach. Drinks were typical of beach drinks in plastic cups ( can’t have everything).

We stayed at the Sirata beach resort and had Valentines day dinner here. The restaurant is grossly understaffed. The waitress/hostess was taking orders by herself and had 2 servers. The appetizers of which we ordered lobster bisque and pretzel bites took more than half an hour and the lobster bisque was inedible because it was so salty.
I ordered a cobb salad and my girlfriend ordered the short ribs. The salad was mostly clumps of blue cheese and the short ribs were tough and she was barely able to cut through them. Needless to say the night was ruined . The staff was very nice and apologetic but it took up the whole night waiting. My recommendation is to enjoy the drinks and music and skip the food.

Good beach atmosphere. The pretzel bites were ok. The kids peanut butter and jelly was toasted, a bit weird. We also had the chicken quesadilla and it was good. The bang bang shrimp tacos were awesome! Super saucy and spicy! The bloody was a little thick to our liking. Overall, it was good, not great. But you are right next to the beach which is gorgeous!

We visit this bar when we are around the area. If you are looking for someone to cater to you every 2 min this isn’t the place for you. The staff is great but it is a very chill, lay back type of bar. The drinks are always good and food has always been served nice and hot and with great flavor.

Rum Runners has a nice location on St. Pete Beach. Best part of the place, besides the location, was that they had live music. Margaritas were good. The food was decent at best. The bar tender did give us some recommendations and things to avoid.

We’ve been going here for years. Haven’t been in a while so I checked recent review to which made me hesitant to come back. I’m glad we decided to ignore them because we had a great experience. They had live music that was really good and set the vibe. Our server Carlos was quick at greeting us, getting our drinks and food. All the food tasted great. The drinks were fruit margaritas that was point.
