We had a great experience at this restaurant for a friends Birthday. I had the New York strip the way the Chef recommended and it was one of the best New York strips I have had in Los Angeles. The only reason I am not giving this place a 5 star is because they were out of a few items which we were informed about after we ordered. In terms of service it was great. Server was attentive and they did offer a dessert on the house for the inventory issues. Be advised, they are cashless so you will need to provide a credit card.
Service: 5 star
Atmosphere and Ambiance: 5 star
Experience: 4 star
Food: 5 star
Parking: Valet ($22)
Payment: 3 star (they do not take cash)
Menu: 3 star (items were not available.)
Cost: $$$$

Came here for girls night last night and had a fantastic time!
All food items from the complimentary bread to the dessert were all amazing. I particularly love the perfectly cooked new york steak with potato onion buns, all three dressings were amazing. The chocolate soufflé our waiter recommended us order was so good!
Our waiter Christian was awesome, the service was extremely attentive. Thanks for a wonderful night!

First impression was excellent: a vibrant place with Brigitte Bardot posters and modernized Old Hollywood vibe. Although some small details were off – dead roses in the hostess’s vase, all waiters saying “Bridget” instead of Brigitte (if you have several pictures of her hanging around and a cocktail named after her, teach your staff how to pronounce her name), some confusion to sit us down – we were anxious to try the food. It missed the rendezvous. The pâté was bland despite an interesting side of pickled peaches, the entrees we had – including their steak, which they served to our incredulity with, basically, bread – were unremarkable for their price, and their baba au rhum was actually outrageous, tasting like toothpaste. There is potential but the food needs to be improved.

The restaurant food is overpriced for the effort they put and the ingredients they incorporate in a dish. It seems that they want to copy the high class French restaurants while their food is tasteless. The steamed halibut size was very small in a bland miso soup. Japanese mackerel was a few pieces of mackerels and a pickled mix of vegetables. I have to say that they add a 5% fee to your bill for their employee’s wellness, on top of tax and tips.

I had an absolutely fabulous time here. The service was exceptional from the hostesses to my server, Derek.
The atmosphere is beautiful and every inch of the space was clearly well thought out. I enjoyed my drink – their version of a Paloma.
The steak tartare was okay (and the only negative part of my meal). The duck was inspired and the huckleberry was absolutely genius. I’m always hesitant to enjoy duck in the US but this was better than some of the places I’ve eaten in France. Derek recommended I pair the duck with a Riesling. Normally I’m not a fan of white wine but this paired very nicely with the duck. The chocolate soufflé was delicious as well.
Overall an amazing experience and I also stopped by Bar Lis which was also very nice.

We had a pretty good dinner here. The halibut was fresh and good, paired well with the clam broth. The risotto was good (would be even better with more truffle!), and the pork chip was tasty.
The souffle was good, but a bit rich and heavy. Share it with a friend.

Mes Amis feels more like a French restaurant you’d find in New York and that’s a good thing. The room is beautiful and energetic, the service was wonderful and the food quite memorable. Don’t skip on dessert!

Everything was excellent! The staff was nice and attentive, the food was gorgeous (risotto ), the wine was good (we’ve tried one of the cabs). The high chair for the kid was clean (which happens rarely). Overall – a very nice place, we would be happy to be back.
Also the interior is pretty – like a modern french bistrot with an LA touch.

Went there for breakfast to this “French restaurant”, the service is really bad, the croissant was cold and latte and cappuccino was just a coffee with a milk without any slight difference.
We didn’t asked for a second fruits , but waiter anyways put it on a bill
