Best bbq I have in a long time. The chicken breast was so tender. It pretty much just melted in my mouth. The squash casserole was so good. Different from any that I have ever had, but still so good. First time ever having brisket and I was so smokey and tender. Good selection of bbq sauces. The hot one was my favorite. Good prices too. Will definitely be adding this to my list of resturants I visit.

So disappointed! Now I know why this place wasn’t packed around dinner time. A seriously poor attempt at southern food. The mashed potatoes were a gooey glop. All you could taste in the potato salad was sweet pickles and pepper. The brisket was not tender but the flavor was okay. The pulled pork was tender but definitely needed sauce. The hush puppies were decent. The staff was super friendly (hence the extra star). I will not eat here again.

Smokehouse 29 looks like a simple little “meat and three diner” sort of place, but the ribs plate I had was really great! The price was fair, the selection was good, and the two staff members I met were really sweet. It’s not a fancy restaurant or the kind of place you would go for atmosphere. But so far my first visit was good and I will go back and try other things.

Everybody is really missing out. There is never a crowd and there should be! Best bbq place around. Customer service is amazing. Everything I’ve tried has been amazing. Ribs are awesome. Banana pudding amazing! My favorite thus far is the Brunswick hash. Help this locally owned restaurant thrive in their efforts to serve the community. 5 stars all day long.

Great meats, sides, and sauces. Excellent beef brisket. I wish to-go orders included more sauces, and eating in with a 3-meat meal is served in individual little dishes rather than including a plate. Service is always great and fast, but there aren’t very many people. I highly recommend it, and would love to see Smokehouse 29 stick around.

Great experience tonight! I pulled in 10 minutes to closing. I was treated with respect and was not rushed. The food was amazing!! The Pulled Pork was hot fresh and moist on a Monday which can be hard to find at other places. The hush puppies are amazing as well.
