Younger sister of Mona’s & Roosters was born to be the favorite of the beautiful City of Martinez CA. We believed that a Burger should be masterfully crafted to represent who you are and what you stand for. And when representing something as powerful as the most popular food in America, we didn’t want to outsource or cut corners on the creation process. While the rest of the world was caught up in chasing cost savings and cheap ingredients, we decided to make it damn right. Whatever the hang-ups, whatever the ingredients price, however long it takes, we make sure to get it right. Because we know we’re not the only ones whose veins run cravings for a damn good burger. Dropped by for lunch at ~2pm. Tried the Yowza burger with sweet potato fries… good quality for the price. Happy Hour 2-5 pm everyday as well, and good price deals there. Limited # of indoor tables here but for a small party it’s a great new place on Main St to grab a bite. Friendly servers too…and I can appreciate the Banksy-style artwork on the walls.

My wife and I took our 10mo son to try Yowza Burger for the first time on a Sunday evening. At this time it’s been open about two weeks and it wasn’t too busy at around 630pm.
We tried the classic burger, Cajun curly fries, wedge salad, empanada, and an Oreo Milkshake
Being as it is the same owner or owners as Mona’s the food tastes and is the same I suspect.
We will definitely be coming back, service was great and location is convenient being in Martinez with limited options.
Empanadas could be heated up a bit longer and the Cajun seasoning of the curly fries is a bit too salty for our liking but these are things that can be tailored in quickly
Grabbed an Oreo milkshake to go and it was very good.
Overall I think this will be a great addition to Martinez.

I ordered the French Dip Burger to go. Sadly it came with about a shot glass full of au jus. Obviously not nearly enough. The burger was quite good without it though and I’ll likely be back soon to try other offerings.

Awesome spot to grab Burgers, wings or chicken tenders downtown. Happy hour from 2-5, great discounts on food, beer and wine. Burgers are amazing.

Went there on a whim on a Monday, a lot of restaurants in the area seemed to be closed on Mondays. We were blown away! The classic burger was so tasty – made to order, lightly charred, meaty and juicy. Came with skinny fries, those were yummy too. Friend had the empanada and liked it a lot. Price is reasonable for the quality and friendly service.

Nearest restaurant to the courthouse. Lunch time was crowded. Ordered a burger and soda to go, but when I went to eat it, the patty was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. Not edible. Tossed into the trash.

Cajun fries should just be call seasoning salt fries all I taste is straight seasoning salt no hot like Cajun suppose to be. Then chicken not cook enough. I think focus on cooking the chicken correctly in not be heavy hands with the salt I tried all the chicken horrible to much can’t enjoy the food
