I just really dig this place. Slightly upscale, still welcoming and casual, not pretentious at all. I had a lovely meal to myself out on the patio. Love the bacon and jalapeño steamer clams…I get steamer clams a lot, at many places: Amy’s is one of my favorites! And bonus, the clams are on their Happy Hour menu. I also ordered their seafood chop salad (subbing bleu cheese dressing for the default 1000 Island) and was very pleased. Service was smiling and friendly.

Wonderful fish and chips, Alaskan cod. My grandmother treated because if my recent academic success. She said I had eaten here with her before, but I doubt it…it was good enough to remember, and I did not remember dining here previously.

I have been to this restaurant three or four times now. The food is really delicious and if you are looking for a great restaurant with an emphasis on seafood in the Port Orchard area, don’t miss this place. The views are spectacular as well.
The only thing I really don’t like is that you have to exit the restaurant to go to the bathrooms which are shared with another restaurant.
We ordered a calamari appetizer, and my dad said it was some of the best calamari he had ever had. It comes in strips and not rings…Like little filets. Delicious. I had a seafood Louie salad that was gorgeous and huge. It had perfectly cooked shrimp and fresh lump crab and all kinds of other colorful ingredients, including a sliced half of avocado on top.
Definitely one of the nicest and most scenic restaurants in the area. They also have a nice lunch menu.
EDIT (January 2019): I was sad to find out that Amy never found a buyer for this cute waterfront view restaurant by the bay and it is now CLOSED. 🙁

A gem of a restaurant, didn’t know it existed until today. Quality of food is excellent and very well portioned. Menu is easy to follow and prices are very fair considering the quality and size (at least for what I ordered). The appetizer menu is primarily seafood, so if you have someone in your party that isn’t a huge fan of seafood then tough luck. There are some good non-seafood choices at least entree wise.
Wait times are significantly short. It was about less than 10 minutes after I finished my salad appetizer that our meals were out. Mind blowing! Granted, it was late afternoon and they weren’t very busy but I’ve been in other places before that had no one in there and waited almost an hour so this place really takes wait times serious.
Our server was really cool, had much regard to our needs and showed excellent hospitality and professionalism.
My wife and I plan to make this our “go-to” spot. We literally live within walking distance so I can’t wait to see what they do during the summer time. Oh by the way, if you live in Bremerton, Amy’s is located just off the foot ferry. So if you wanted to hop on that quick boat ride to Port Orchard, you won’t have to walk far at all to get to Amy’s (most likely 5 minutes if that).

The staff is amazing. The food was the best in town for years. The quality of the good has really went down. The cuts of meat and the crab are cheap now. They had the best crab cakes a year ago ( they were homemade with dungeness crab) but not anymore. The calamari and steamers are still on point. The wine selection is great as well.

Good beer selection and service overall. We had burgers (blackened blue cheese), not bad, but certainly nothing special or worth coming back for. We also saw several other diners complain about their dishes. We were happy we didn’t order anything more expensive than burgers though! Would come back to enjoy a beer and the deck seating, but not the food.

Had a great lunch today. First time eating there. Fish & Chips were great, onion soup and Cesar salad also over the top. Service was perfect. Never in need. Will definitely be returning. Great spot to eat on the water with a view of navy warships.

Very disappointed. Understaffed….no one seating guests….food was very, very underwhelming. Ordered clams to start….not served with any bread…WHAT? Had to ask for napkins. My $8.50 drink was a tiny amount in a very small tall Collins glass. My Ciopino was missing the fish. My boyfriends food was under seasoned as was mine. We laughed after I spent $112 that we probably would have done better at Red Lobster, and that my friends….is very sad. Let’s top it off….on the way out, one of the waitresses was outside in the phone having a fit about someone in the bar next door and about how hard she was working. (She was working hard but this was totally unprofessional)

Amy, herself, is one of the best bar/restaurant owner I have had the pleasure of ever meeting. My first time here, I had an issue with my meal. She went above and beyond without hesitation to make me the happiest customer by the time I left. Every time I have been back since, she is present and willing to uphold that standard. Coming from the restaurant business I cannot give enough praises to this establishment and it’s owners! Cheers!

Wow! We had a Wonderful experience!!! The food was awesome, and the staff was very helpful & prompt. We had the Crab Cakes, Steak & Lobster and Salmon. Oh My, were they very delicious!!!
I also found out they use the freshest ingredients and meats.
You really get what you pay for here!!!
