My husband and I are Jamaicans so we have been to probably all of the Jamaican restaurants in Pittsburgh. This is a fairly new Jamaican restaurant and we had high expectations for this place. They did not disappoint! First of all, they offer the best service out of all of the Jamaican restaurants we have been to. The chef came out and personally served our meals in regular plates and utensils and made sure we were happy with our food. The other staff also checked on us periodically. They ran out of bammi that day, but they still had breadfruit so we got a plate of that. The jerk chicken and curry chicken were very good and juicy! Our only complaint is that the jerk chicken sauce didn’t taste like it was homemade, but store bought (it was good though). The restaurant is at a shopping plaza so they had a lot of parking, which is already a win for us because pretty much all other Jamaican restaurants in the area don’t have a parking lot and we have to struggle to find street parking. We would definitely come back again!

Food: Yum, yum, Yum. I had the jerk chicken (they give you a lot), rice and beans along with the cabbage. I ate it all . The jerk will definitely make your noise run a little but it was good. I ordered the oxtail for my husband to go.
My friend got the jerk salmon (omg looked mouth watering)and shrimp along with the shrimp curry
I’m coming back to try more food items for sure.
We did karaoke, a couple of line dances and just had a great time.

We got the Jerk Chicken and Curry Chicken lunch meals. We definitely got a nice amount of food, it was very flavorful. I loved that they gave you the jerk sauce on the side to add yourself. The staff was very nice and helpful. I can’t wait until more options are added back to the menu. I would love to have their Brown Stew Chicken! I’ll definitely be back for more.

WOW! HIT THE TASTE BUDS JUST RIGHT!! I treated myself to dinner “Because I Deserve d It!” LOL! , ordered Oxtail and Beans Dinner. LOVED IT WAS DELICIOUS! Nice and tender, oxtails we’re meaty, flavored with just the right spices. YEP!I JUST JUST LEFT THE BONES . Red beans and Rice, cabbage very good . Definitely a happy and will return customer. Look forward to going to live entertainment night.

The overall evaluation I’d give the location a two. The goat curry was quite dry, and there wasn’t enough cabbage, which was equally bad. But the rice and peas were delicious.

This is a secret gem in Crafton. The food was phenomenal, went with the Jerk chicken and Ox Tail as recommended by the server. I’d easily pay double. The price was very reasonable, portions were very generous and flavor was explosive. The server was the only gentleman working at that particular point in time and the restaurant was half full but he handled everyone with grace and efficiency, maintaining a great attitude. I’ll be a regular going forward!

We went to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Food was delicious, small portions on the cabbage, which is a little different than most Jamaican restaurants .service was excellent, and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be going back.
