Ordered and picked up two breakfast burritos. At home, one burrito was super thin because of no hash browns, one slice of bacon, and maybe one egg. Tried to call, but they never answer at the Edgewood location. Jumped in the car and headed back. At the window, explained the #1bacon did not have hash browns or not much bacon or eggs. The shift manager said he could not take back the burrito but could give me a side of hash browns and I could make the burrito at home. I insisted on a new burrito which he eventually agreed to make. I would love to say this is a one off, but if you see the number of one star reviews, you know it happens all the time and sadly, corporate does nothing.

On multiple visits, our online order wasn’t ready in the allotted time, it took an extra 10 minutes (totaling 25).
My husbands order was incorrect the last time (they forgot green chili on a green chili burger and instead of offering to remake it, they gave him a condiment container of green chili) and this time I got egg shell in my burrito.
Also, there’s no trash cans here. For a place where there’s no sit down area, I think one garbage can would be helpful for visitors.
Instead of ordering here, just call into Chili Hills and save yourself a headache.

The food is (usually) pretty fresh. They basically always pull you to parking once you pay in the drive through, but usually my fries are very hot, and burger is well made. If you do go to a Blake’s, either here, or moriarty is your best bet.

Don’t go to this Blakes it sucks! I ordered 2 burritos one was wrong. Then the person refunding my order was put out by doing my refund. Everything is pre-made and thrown together like left overs. I drive to Moriarty to the Blakes there much better and fresher.

Insane wait times for ‘fast food’.
Food was good but not great. They seem to be cutting back on the amount of green chillies on the burger.
Had to wait a minimum of 20 minutes for them to bring out my order of 2 burgers and onion rings. We were one of 7 cars waiting.

I pulled into the walmart parking lot to do some shopping. And decided I would have dinner at Blake’s Lotaburger.
I never heard of blake’s before today. But I could smell it across the parking lot. I got a fat guy’s nose for food.
This location is just a drive-through with a small walk-up window. I arrived thirty minutes before closing. I went to the walk-up window and stood there for a while before noticing a sign that said, place your order online.
I placed my order online. Then, ten minutes later, I got my burger. I ordered the lot of burger new mexico style, with onion rings. I would have loved to have ordered a shake. And / or some chili. Maybe even some chili fries. But i’m gonna be spending the night in my truck.
New mexico style means they’re going to cover it with anaheim chilies. (hatch chilies) I know New Mexicans may get upset that I’m calling them Anaheim chilies, but to me, there’s no flavor difference. Some may say it’s because i’ve never had a fresh hatch chili. I would respond by saying they don’t sell fresh hatch chilies at blake’s lotaburger. And if you think they do, someone fooled you into believing a hatch chili is different than an anaheim.
All of that to say, the burger was delicious! 5 stars
The onion rings were very good. Some of them were a little more cooked than others, but they didn’t taste like processed, onion rings. 4 stars
Overall, Blake’s gets 4 1/2 stars. Next time i’m in New Mexico, I will definitely come here again.

This seems like an exclusively Edgewood problem since it doesn’t happen in Albuquerque. This location NEVER puts the red sauce in my burritos. It happens every time. They even put red sauce on the ticket but there’s never any in the burrito. They make sure to charge extra for eggs but they can’t put sauce in the food. Ridiculous. Not going to this location anymore.

Good food with large portions. The burritos are huge. The chicken sandwiches are the best in Edgewood. Service can be slow but they do bring it to your car.
