Terrible food, from the burger to the brisket, sausage and Mac and cheese. But to be fair all of the food in the copper mountain resort was surprisingly bad and overpriced. If I go back I will cook or drive to Frisco. The service was good and the beer was great.

A trip to Copper wouldn’t be complete without lunch at Eagle BBQ. Great food, great people working the kitchen. Can’t go past the brisket sandwich.

Eagle BBQ is an absolute standout in Copper! We brought a ski racing camp with 54 athletes and 14 coaches, and Eagle BBQ took incredible care of us every single day. They served both breakfast and dinner with a smile, handled our big group effortlessly, and the hospitality was top-notch. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and exactly what our athletes needed after long days on the hill. We can’t recommend them enough. Thank you, Eagle BBQ, for going above and beyond!

Came here on opening day for the delicious breakfast burrito and loved seeing the updates they made to the place. Their patio was already one of the best for apres ski because you can ski right up to it and it gets sun until later in the day. Now they added a much bigger outdoor bar and all new furniture. Really nice people working there too. Excited to visit Eagle BBQ often this season!

Pretty Good. Pulled pork was tender and moist without a lot of fat. Price had a $20 sticker shock, but everything at Copper Mountain ain’t cheap. They did have a $5 special for PBR which was nice. Fries were very crispy as well.

Brilliant BBQ food at the bottom of the mountain. We had the brisket burger and the loaded Mac n cheese, it was delicious and a decent portion size! The different BBQ sauces are worth sampling.

It’s clear this spot specializes in BBQ, and the brisket sandwich is quite good. Knowing that, I expected the crispy chicken sandwich to be comparable. Unfortunately, the $23 chicken sandwich consisted of only two small chicken tenders on a bun (with a side), which — even for ski resort pricing — felt disappointingly overpriced for the portion size.

February 4, 2026 our ski club rented out the restaurant or midweek party. The service was impeccable, the food was amazingly delicious. The price was right and they were ready for us when we got there 🙂 could not recommend the more highly.

Tables were sagging. Stood for a long time waiting to order. They put really cold cheese on one side of the burrito and it really just ruined it. My friends said the biscuits and gravy were really good.

My wife and I have lived at Copper for the last few years. We were very excited to see these guys come over from Vail to start a BBQ joint at our home mountain. We heard great things about their last restaurant, and on our first visit here, we hope they stick around a long time! Now to the review: Simple interior decorating in true BBQ joint form, quick made to order setup, five feet from ski slope, average resort pricing, SUPER TASTY Q! Large portions, great sauces, mellow atmosphere.
