One of the best local pizza spots around! Their food is consistently amazing — from their Sunday special hotdogs to the thin crust and double crust pizzas, everything is made fresh and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality in every bite.
The menu has a great variety, so there’s something for everyone, and the prices are super reasonable for the portion sizes. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home every time you visit. The atmosphere inside is warm and welcoming, and the outdoor patio is perfect for relaxing on a nice day.

Really great pizza! We got the thin crust sausage/pepperoni and I tried the “favorite” with artichokes, banana peppers, Fresh mushrooms, spinach, ricotta cheese. Had a bit of a kick to it but really good high quality ingredients. The building itself is interesting – antiques but clean. Staff was very friendly and pizza was fresh on pick up. We will definitely be back!

We tried Ron & Pat’s tonight for the first time & it did not disappoint!!! Our pizza had bacon (crispy), tomato, onion & garlic. It tasted excellent and was cooked perfect. Can’t wait to come back! 10/10

Wow! I Googled pizza places near me, and decided to give Ron and Pat’s a try. I’m gluten free, and have gotten used to sub par crust. All I can say is WOW. Crispy, crunchy and tasty. The sauce was perfect. Cooker to perfection. I dare say this is the best pizza I’ve ever had (including the time before I avoided gluten)

I’ve had a variety of pizzas before and all I can say it’s this is THE BEST FRESHLY MADE PIZZA around… EVER!! My boyfriend and I love spinach and mushroom, and they use FRESH MUSHROOMS!! That’s how a pizza should be made… with fresh ingredients!!
Anyway, this time we dined in, but we’ve picked up our order the other 2 times (Pic’s are from home). Last night we decided to just go there and dine in. It’s a cute little Mom and Pop place off of Deep Lake Rd. We haven’t tried anything else yet, but if the rest of their food is anything like their pizza, I’m sure it’s just as delicious!! Can’t wait to try more!

I was never there, … yet. I do know this, my son brought home a deep dish pizza from Ron & Pat’s and it was the best pizza I ever ate. I heard that it takes an hour to make their deep dish, so plan ahead.

I am Chicago born and raised and former resident for 50+ years and know what good Chicago thin crust tavern pizza is. I’ve had best.
The only one that even compares to it in Lake County IL and is actually better is Ron and Pats in Antioch Il. The crust is thin and crispy, the sauce has just the right amount of seasoning and never bland, the cheese and sausage is generous and top quality.
I can’t tell you enough about the best pizza I ever had or Serena the owner who works 7 days a week to maintain quality and consistency. She has added a cauliflower crust to her menu so now my diabetic granddaughter who is lactose intolerant can enjoy it too. It’s a family favorite.
I also have to mention the meatball sandwich which I had for lunch this week. It was delicious and I now have a new favorite lunchtime sandwich. It’s as good as the pizza!

Awesome classic & antique cars & truck decor.
Nice people.
But as I walked towards the counter to get a menu, I could smell a sewer/water issue going on somewhere there that wasn’t pleasant. They have fans going but I could still smell it. For that reason I almost walked out. But I gave them a try and ordered a Italian beef and fries.
Fries: sick, skinny ones and no flavor.
Italian beef: that was decent. Quality of the meat was good, not chewy and no waisted portions. Not peppery tasting or over spiced.
Maybe the pizza is the best food there?

Great pizza and sandwiches and sides. Very friendly staff and BIG hustle from great kitchen staff means hot and fresh. Amazing what a well oiled machine can do; serving so many with a smaller kitchen. Very good wine and beer selection.
