Came here twice and have loved every experience.
The first time was obviously on a walk home after some drinks.
We ordered the lamb/beef combo gyro and chicken tenders with fries. All was tasty, fresh, and hot. Pita bread was soft, and lamb/beef was seasoned and cooked to par.
The second time, I strolled in at midnight and ordered a lamb/beef combo with fries.
Fries both times were fresh and best yet unsalted. Gyro was just as good as first time.
These guys are on par with Jerusalem Cafes truck.
Edit- 3rd visit
Philly cheese steak was really good, but not enough portion to justify price.

A staple in KC. Been going for years now and I cannot recommend it enough. 10/10 would definitely recommend… If you can handle the spice, add the hot sauce. Best I have ever tasted!

Stumbled across this food truck on 16th n Walnut. I’ve never really had food from a truck before but kiddo was hungry and I thought why not. I AM SO GLAD WE STOPPED!! Never did I think I could get a gyro better than the place we visit every time I go to Florida. It’s not cheap either down there. Managed to drive 15 mins home. I was stunned that our food was still HOT!! Not warm, not kind of warm. Even the fries were HOT! I can go get some and be home in 5 minutes and the fries are always cold. Not this time. They were extra but I would gladly pay for them again! There was enough to share them with 3 ppl. I’m the pic you can see I shared them with my son. To my surprise when I lifted my gyro out, there was even more underneath!! Also, these fries were not those skinny cheap looking ones. They weren’t crinkle nor steak but a cross between those two. And oh they were so good!! Making me want to order just fries now. My gyro was nice and tender. I ordered the beef and lamb. I did order extra tzatziki sauce. It was only a $1.00 because I assumed there would be enough. There’s never enough. Let’s just say I wasted a dollar lol. There was so much sauce, it made it messy to eat but NOT in a bad way. They didn’t try to fill it will vegetables to make it look bigger. It was the right amount of meat and veggies. I don’t know if I’m allowed to put the price. Let’s just say Ive bought a crappy hamburger for more than I paid for it. I could only eat half of it and was happy to eat the rest for lunch. They had other items on the menu if gyro or Greek isn’t your fancy. I got a cheeseburger for my child, ketchup only. They had all the fix’in if you wanted it. Gotta picky eater. I asked him how his sandwich was and he said one of the best he’s had. It wasn’t greasy which was good. And the price I paid for that!?!!! Again, you’d pay more at that crappy Mc place and get a smaller burger. I paid around $26 for both of us to eat. Now a days, that’s the price you pay for one to eat. I don’t know how it stayed hot on the drive home. They did wrap the gyro in foil and laid it on top of the fries. Maybe that’s how. They also used a styrofoam container. Not those clear plastic lid with black bottom ones. The burger was in a nice thick cardboard container too. So I think that’s how everything stayed like it just got off the cook top. I guess you can either drive around dow town to find them or go to their web site to see where they will be. I hope they don’t go further south because I definitely will eat at that truck again!!! (I only mentioned they had other food items if you don’t like greek food. I can not remember what else they had. I think chicken, wraps or course burgers. I wanted to say that I gave my picky eater a good size piece of lamb. I asked “well?” He said it was really good!! ). I don’t think you’d be disappointed in the food nor prices).
UPDATE: Spoke wayyyy too soon. Drove down there again. The older gentleman was a grump. They upped the price. Fries are extra but good. The gyro was NOT like the first one I bought. He just threw it all together and it was so messy. There was only 4 of us waiting. Went down a month after my first review. Dunno what happened but I guess if ur drunk n need some food it would be ok. Thought I was on to something here.

Everything was amazing. I love gyros and they have the best I’ve had in Kansas City.

I ordered their chicken gyro with fries. The gyro was overflowing with tzatziki sauce, so you weren’t able to taste the chicken. The gyro had more sauce than lettuce and tomatoes and chicken. This was the only thing opened on Friday night and the pictures on Doordash were completely different than the actual food. Not worth being the only place serving food after 11pm.

Great service! Plenty of options at a great price! Right next to PNL when I found them and it was super convenient!

Food was not fresh. I paid $20 for chicken/lamb/beef gyro, fries, and baklava. The fries were stale. The gyro was bland, even with 3 meats. The baklava was dense and dry. My coworker got the chicken gyro. She took one bite before throwing it away and complaining that her stomach hurt maybe 30 minutes later. Overall I’m disappointed, I can only imagine that the cost of running a food business right now must be high, but please do not cut corners at your customers expense.

Freakin delish, I’d give it 10 stars if I could! If you can’t find the truck where you saw it last just pop it in google maps and it’ll tell you exactly where it is, enjoy! 🙂
