First time dining in since they opened up post-covid; simple, relaxing ambience. Sushi is absolutely the best in the area, so fresh and with thoughtful personal touches (they heard it was my birthday and made my sashimi into a rose shape and gifted me an octopus). They’ve been through hell as a business, what with years of massive county construction outside, followed by the post-pandemic customer dropoff. But they still have a loyal clientele, and for good reason. We are so lucky to have this place in Wheaton.

Great sushi place with amazing food and a quality menu. Friendly staff and plenty of options to make for an awesome sushi night. Highly recommend the sushi combo platters as well as the blue label sake.

I have been coming here for years and every single time I visit it is reinforced for me that this is far and away the very best sushi in the area. The people who run this place are absolutely amazing and the care they put into the service, atmosphere, and food quality is unparalleled. I will come here for as long as it exists. Thank you all

Their cooking is artwork. Delicious salmon and sushi, the vibes feel more like NYC than Wheaton. Highly recommend.

This is the only sushi place I order from now! Been going here for over a year now and it has never disappointed. Luckily, their indoor dining has opened again as well. Their takeout is always fresh and the quality of their sushi is perfect. Best of all, the staff are always very friendly and welcoming. I can’t recommend this place enough!

The order looks appetizing – however, as I started eating, first two pieces that were not good. The ebi tasted old and the tuna had a bit of a musty taste. This was the case for the rest of the meal. I am very disappointed as this use to be my fave sushi spot. Also the ginger had a bad smell and I threw it out. Disposed of this entire order. No longer my fave local sushi restaurant.

havent tried their sushi..See a lot of fake reviews but thats fine not my buisness
there are three things that bother me
1.Plagiarized brand of Moby Dick kabob
2. Enforced parking literally looking every minute for violators
3. Won’t allow anyone to use their bathroom
wouldnt buy from here

Disappointing.
Quality control is really important for sushi. I’ve had great sushi from this place before, Which is why this review is still two stars and not one.
After pulling the bones out of my teeth which is something you never want to do while eating sushi. Finding ourselves being unable to finish the food. Chewing for minutes like well done steak on tuna of it probably isn’t sushi grade.
I wrote this review.
Tips for success: Don’t place hot rolls and cold rolls in the same box. Select fish that’s appropriate for raw consumption, And then slice it correctly.
And most importantly DE-BONE your fish.
The only photo I took after our first disappointing couple of bites attached.

This is easily the best sushi i have had in ages. As a vegan i often struggle to find sushi that isn’t just an avocado roll or more than two items on the menu that i can eat. This place is packed with flavor and the service is also respectable and kind. The non vegan sushi was also soooo delicious. The one thing i think everyone should try is the crunchy spicy veggie roll. It was soo good i had to come back the next day to eat again. One of the best things i have ever eaten!!! I’m still thinking about it and about to order it after i leave this review. We started to dig in therefore the picture is somewhat eaten since we couldn’t stop ourselves as soon as we got the food on the table. Truly amazing !!

I hear from a coworker about this place and I have found my favorite spot for sushi near work. I went a couple of friends. We ordered the volcano, dragon and sashimi roll (appetizer size).
Omg the volcano was amazingly flavored, the mix with the ingredients and the way they served left me speechless.
I tried the dragon which was really good too.
This a hidden place, located right behind Dunkin’ Donuts, small and cozy, not for big parties.
Definitely ordering some other options, soon.
