Really great sushi, with a lot of unique rolls that you won’t find anywhere else in town, so it stands out from the other sushi establishments in Tehachapi – if you like sushi but want to try something slightly different, try out this spot. They of course have your standard delicious sushi as well.
They also have real Korean BBQ on the menu which you won’t be able to find more literally miles in any direction. Great service, very clean, and classy but still cozy atmosphere. Love this little mom and pop establishment and highly recommend.

This place has became one of my favorite spots in town! I’ve tried them all and this has the ambiance, friendly staff, and most importantly, amazing sushi! The owners makes a point to visit with the tables and make sure that you’re completely satisfied with what you ordered. I’m very picky with my fish and these guys nailed it! Highly recommended

Very good food and service. We tried the Bulogi bowl and Chicken bowl. Along with California Roll. All was great and enjoyed. Looks pretty new, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. Not busy on a Thursday evening- early. A bit pricey, but not overly for good sushi!

Incredible atmosphere, service, and food. Don’t really eat Sushi often, and they went out of the way to make sure I would get something I would be happy with. Chef made sure we were very happy with the presentation and quality of our food, talked with us, and made us feel very at home. Did not want to leave. A but on the pricey side, but for the quality, location, views, and service received, you’ll find your money being well spent.

The BEST sushi restaurant in Tehachapi. Everything is amazing. The salmon tastes great. Tried the deep fried cheese cake, that was also really good. Would definitely recommend coming here.

Ok. This is the best Japanese food within 50 miles. It is also very good. I highly recommend stopping here if you are driving through town. Just west of Flyers gas station about a half mile. We tried 8 things on the menu. It was very delicious. Bill was around $80. Very worth it.

Midori Sushi in Tehachapi, California completely blew me away! The food was extremely delicious and unbelievably fresh—honestly the best sushi I’ve ever tasted. Every bite was full of flavor and clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients.
What made the experience even more special were the owners. They were so warm and welcoming, they truly made us feel like family. It’s rare to find that kind of hospitality these days. You could tell how much the community appreciates them—there was a line of customers waiting just to thank the chef personally. That speaks volumes.
If you’re anywhere near Tehachapi, do yourself a favor and stop by Midori Sushi. It’s more than just a meal—it’s a memorable experience.
