7/26/25 First time eating here I love the rustic atmosphere and the food was fantastic. Kudos to the cook I had the mushroom and swiss no mayo sooo good I m not sure what the other two ordered, but they were chowing down also. We had a very good waitress. Will definitely be back. The only advice I can give for the flies is take a clear bag and put water and a penny in it and hang in upper door jam and they will go away. Not joking it’s something about that penny….revisited on 2 /23/26 I had the turkey and Swiss.. I would rather have slivered turkey instead of lunch meat turkey and for 10.50 not my thrill..

As always, Janice is an outstanding bartender and cook. My beer is never empty and the food is always hot and delicious. All of the waitresses are super kind and I see them working their butts off! Riley is a super hard working kid whose work ethic is amazing for her young age. Impressive!

If you are looking for a very welcoming local bar, this is the place to go. We came here to meet someone for an exchange of goods and stayed for dinner and drinks. The food is simply good with generous portions. The server Emilio was prompt, polite, efficient and attentive. I had the nachos and being a nachos snob was very pleased. Chips were tri colored and crisp with loads of cheese and all the good stuff. I added jalapeños and instead of on the side they added them in just the way I like it. The mushroom Swiss burger was juicy with a generous portion of fries. You will not go away wanting more. Atmosphere is rustic and comfortable and easy.

The atmosphere wasn’t the greatest. It’s a dive bar despite online reviews indicating otherwise. We came as a large group, 11 including children under 5. A large group of bikers came in, very loud, and we were approached twice by 2 different seemingly drunk men. But the waitresses were very accommodating and answered all our questions. The food was absolutely incredible and portion size was huge! Prices were reasonable. I just wish it would be made clear this isn’t the type of place for a family outing with small kids.

First visit, will return. Ruben Dunkers are Really Good. I had a filling shrimp dinner with fries and cottage cheese. Wife had a chili dog and zucchini sticks, yummy. Lots of choices for different things. It’s a bar, so it can get loud. Service was GREAT!!
