Wait in a long line for precooked food for take away or limited seating. Coffee from the machine was just OK. Crepe was made earlier and reheated for 10 seconds. The best part of this place is a shaded place to sit and you can use the toilets outside without having to make a purchase.

For a place in the gardens of Versailles, it’s quite cheap.
And I don’t mean the price, but I’m talking about the quality. The food is fast food grade (not the best kind of fast food), and it’s overpriced (but it’s probably normal for where you are).
You’ll go there because it’s the only place you have, but in other circumstances this place will not have clients.

La Girandole at Versailles is a nice place, between trees and in nature. Their coffee is not good at all, but the toasted sandwich with chicken and cheddar is really tasty – totally recommend (price: 9 euros).
The simple sandvich (the one at 7.5 euro) – the baguette was so hard that we got lips scratches and could barely bite into it – but it was buttery and tasty.
The location and atmosphere is really nice, there is also a restroom nearby.
All in all, we appreciated that the restaurant is well thought out – with taking things on a tray from the cashier and cleaning after you.
When we went, Sunday, at around 12:15, it was not very crowded and we could even pick the table to sit at. When we left (around 1) it was a different story: many people waiting in line (only 2 cashiers) and all tables occupied 🙂
Just don’t waste your money on coffee. The sandwiches can be ok, but I believe it depends.

Food wasn’t that good for the price. Service could be better. Long lines, 30 min waiting for the cashier to tell me the kitchen was closed and the only food they had was sandwiches. Really? Why they don’t include that information on the menu? Waiting for so long for basically nothing

Beautiful place but was not cery happy with staff. After the rain, they didn’t bother wiping until some time later and we had to wipe tables ourselves.
