Occasionally forgotten, often overlooked, this is the place in MQT for your pasta. Look up and down the menu, it’s full of bangers. Then to top it off, all these entrees show up with the greatest bread this side of the Lake Superior. I swear some days I wanna just roll in here for some bread and a glass of wine.
It’s been awhile and they did not disappoint. It felt like a warm embrace of the UPs little slice of Italy.

Great Italian restaurant. Garlic bread is big but we got an extra slice. Almost could not finish. Daughter got tortellini and I had the small lasagna. Was delicious and the staff were friendly.

The breadsticks are out of this world. Chicken Parmesan was amazing. Atmosphere was amazing and I felt right at home! Probably best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. 10/10 recommend

Excellent experience. First dined here in the early ‘90’s when I was stationed at KI Sawyer AFB. I come back to visit every few years since I love their Cudighi sandwich. My daughter was with me this time and loved her pasta and the garlic bread. Is it perfect? No, but the great service, atmosphere and food make it a restaurant worth treasuring as dining out changes so drastically.

KELLY, our waitress was a ray of sunshine. Knew the menu and made excellent recommendations for every course. She was personable and attentive to our need. We each had amazing dishes prepared to order and don’t even get me started on the garlic bread!!! Other Italian restaurants do not have a clue what garlic bread should be like. And then there was dessert… No, we did not save room, but we ordered dessert anyway! OMG! I’m not going to say more; you need to experience Casa Calabria for yourself.

I ordered the “Sicilian Chicken” soup, which promised roasted chicken, veggies, and pasta in broth. What I actually got was a sad cup of salty broth with one lonely piece of chicken bobbing around like it was lost at sea. The pasta? Nowhere to be found.
Then came the large “thin crust” sausage pizza. Thin crust apparently means “doughy with a cheese avalanche.” The sausage was scarce, undercooked, and honestly felt like an afterthought.
If you’re looking for truth in advertising or an actual Italian meal, you won’t find it here. But hey—if you’re into disappointment, Casa delivers.

Seems like the issues I experienced are common when looking through the reviews. Lasagna is greasy with too much cheese and not enough meat and the chicken parm doesn’t have enough sauce. Antipasto only had a few pieces of meat and cheese and literally one green olive and one black olive. The vinaigrette was a little much as well. For how much a plate costs it’s just not worth it. The bread is pretty darn good if you like butter though. (2 stars for the bread)

This place was “OK”. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great. The antipasto salad had 2 pieces of cheese, salami, and pepperoni. Very skimpy. The Pork Simbario I ordered one was great and the other one was dry. The meatballs were just OK and the sauce tasted like it was from a can. So overall underwhelming but not terrible, just meh.

We celebrated a graduation this past weekend. We had a group of 20 and made advanced reservations. We had terrific service and the food was all absolutely delicious! The restaurant has a is nicely decorated and dimly lit for nice ambience. We will definitely come here again!

Food tasted authentic. I dined on a Wednesday night a little after 6. The main dining room was extremely loud, so loud that it was impossibleto enjoy a quaint romantic dinner. Staff was ok, but neglected to refill drinks when empty and took about 15 minutes to get the check.
