Host was friendly and personable. The food was really good, service was limited and slow but friendly. took 15 minutes for a margarita pitcher because only 1 bartender on a Friday night and the margarita wasn’t that great . Atmosphere was mediocre, it’s clean and nice inside but not a Mexican restaurant vibe, music was either off or so low you couldn’t hear it.

Attentive staff. Entrees came out too quickly. We were a few moments into appetizers. Gauc was cold-felt premade. Not table side fresh. It was still good, no oxidation. Food was tasty. Pitcher of margarita was also yummy. Overall good not great. Atmosphere was nice, very moody.

We had other plans for brunch but there was a wait so we came here. I have been meaning to try this restaurant and I’m happy we did. It’s bigger inside than we thought and the food was delish! It had a lot of flavor and hubby’s dish was spicy which he loved. Our dishes were under $20 each so I think it was reasonably priced. And $5 mimosas I’ll definitely be back!!

Overall this is a really cute place but so pricey for the little food you get. If you love spice, this is the place for you. The waitress was amazing and very helpful. Overall, it is a great place but just not for me.

Very intimate setting. Great for valentines Day or a romantic outing for sure. The food was great…definitely one of the most authentic I’ve tasted the steak fajita was just a tad too chewy though the amount of flavor helped. I’d definitely go again if going on an intimate dinner.

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. The service was terrible — staff was incredibly rude, dismissive, and gave off the strangest, uncomfortable energy from the moment we walked in. It felt like we were an inconvenience just for being there.
The food portions were shockingly small for the prices. Even during happy hour, it felt like a complete rip-off. We left still hungry and honestly frustrated, wondering how they justify charging that much for so little.
Overall, the vibe was awful, the service was worse, and the value was nonexistent. We left angry, disappointed, and absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and your mood.

La Catrina is a great addition to downtown media. Upsacle mexican. A little on the pricey side $20 for 3 tacos. Everything we ordered was delicious! And our server was excellent. Blood orange margarita pitchers with spicy rim is a must!

A welcomed addition to the Media restaurant scene. Good margaritas, good food, and good service made for a good dining out experience. Hopefully, La Catrina can break the trend of revolving restaurants at this address.
The waitress was able to make some suggestions regarding the menu and they were definite wins.

La Catrina is a wonderful gem in Media. The food is always fresh and seasoned to perfection. The staff is always friendly and courteous.
I’m only rating 4 stars because I was charged $1 for rocks (ice) in my Grey Goose. It would be better to make the drink price $1 more than to itemize for ice. The margaritas are served with rocks (ice) and there’s wasn’t a seperate charge for it.

What a great experience. To start off the night, this fabulous red hair hostess was oh so welcoming! Food was great, atmosphere was even better. Can’t wait to visit again especially when Bailey is back!
