This was one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve had. I placed a mobile order for drive-thru pickup and arrived five minutes after the scheduled time. The car ahead of me sat at the speaker for nearly 10 minutes without being greeted, and when it was finally my turn, I wasn’t greeted either — just told what items weren’t available, with zero effort to communicate about my order.

After waiting almost 20 minutes past my pickup time, I went inside to ask about my food. The two employees working were giggling in the back, messing around, and clearly not taking their jobs seriously. When I asked about my order, they acted confused and unbothered, and it genuinely felt like they were laughing at me for being frustrated.

It was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. These employees were more focused on goofing off with each other than doing their jobs or treating customers with basic courtesy. Management seriously needs to address their behavior, because it made the entire store feel lazy, unorganized, and careless.

Saw a post on Reddit recommending Taco Cabana. This was my 1st visit.

I would have loved to leave a 5 star review, as some of my food was absolutely amazing, but the product quality is inconsistent.
Ordered the Mexican platter.
The beans & rice? Super.
The taco? Tasty.
The … enchilada?(pictured) Cold corn tortilla, cold cheese, covered in cold pico de gallo. Not edible.

The Double Crunch Pizza (pictured) does not resemble what is advertised. The inside was beans, ground beef and cheese. Where is the flavor? Why is there only sour cream a few tomatos on top? This was disgusting. Trashed it.

The churros? DELICIOUS!

Why are some menu items great, and others poorly put together?

I honestly wouldn’t even give it a star! Horrible experience bought the 15 dollar loaded nacho box with steak and I barely even got meat in there. So I have to get back in a long line just wait while the nachos on top of the wait are getting soggy I pull up to the window told the guy they barely gave me meat he rolled his eyes said something within himself and decided to give me my money back instead of adding more meat to the nachos. Never again will I service there been other place and I get loaded nachos but what they gave me here was a rip off!!!!

I stopped here while traveling to Louisiana.

The first thing I noticed was the layout was more modern here than the other locations in Collin County and Dallas I’ve been to. It made the restaurant look more appealing.

Everything was clean and in order. There were plenty of napkins, eating utensils and the salsa bar as well taken care of.

What got me was how they got my modified order spot on. I asked for a chicken salad with no beans and extra lettuce. The chicken was tasty and the lettuce was fresh.

I thanked the young man who took my order and made sure it was right, over and over.

Last night my vehicle broke down in the driveway thru. After a kind gentleman helped my daughter and I get it to the side lane so others could still go through, one of the workers came out to check on us. I appreciate the kindness and patience he showed us while we waited on the tow truck. You have a wonderful employee and I hope you can do something for him! I didn’t get a name, but maybe you have it on camera. Thank you Taco Cabana, we are very grateful!

Stopped in here at about 10:45 AM, soon as I walked in I should have turned around and left. Placed my order, went to get a table, they were all dirty but one. The salsa bar was gross, what few options there was, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned from the night before. My quesadillas looked and tasted like they were from the night before as well. Another couple was in, finished what they could and said they would never be back. I went to get churros before I left, no one at the register. Another couple came in while I waited, and waited. I told them to order at their own risk. They said thank you and left. I see alot of bad reviews on this particular place, I guess corporate dosen’t care, cause nothing has changed. This place is just nasty! Come on people, you can do better.

They have outreached themselves in setting new records for Incompetent staff with no customer service skills!
The place looked as if it were closed down from the appearance of the parking lot…

Staff was in the back having a good old time! The floors and tables were filthy! All the staff was in the back, laughing and cutting up, on their cell phones, no one was worried about how the restaurant appeared to those walking through the front door!
There was no one in the restaurant at the time in question, so they had plenty of time to clean the entire restaurant end to end.

The past three visits have been a disaster!

There’s nothing worse than trying to eat a meal and you see a bug crawl across the table next to you! I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like!

I sent a letter to corporate, no response! So now I’m posting it on here with pictures to validate my complaint!
I Will be reaching out to the health inspector since no one at corporate has a vested interest in the restaurant!

I’m waiting for the typical cut-n-paste response from the owner and it goes something like this; “ We appreciate your feedback and take your concerns seriously. Our team is working hard to address these issues and improve our service. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.”

>>> MEANWHILE, nothing will ever be done to improve the service and/or the condition of the restaurant because the complaints continue to flow in. Who knows just how many people are not reporting what they see here?!

“CORPORATE HAD THE AUDACITY TO SEND ME A ($50) GIFT CARD > TO THIS RESTAURANT, REALLY?”

I stopped here on Thanksgiving Day while traveling to East Texas. It looked like there were only two employees working, and even though they were about to close the inside lobby when I walked in, the staff member still took my order with a great attitude.

Corporate leaders don’t make places like this run — it’s the people who show up and put in the work. The frontline employees are the heartbeat of the company, and without them, it wouldn’t be the great establishment that it is.

Normally Taco Cabana, specifically the Terrell location, gets my order correct and amazing every time I go. One of my favorite locations to stop by, however, tonight they must have not wanted to work. With barely any people inside or in the drive-through, my order was still incorrect. I was missing some food items and a drink. Typically when you go to fast food places, it’s because you’re too busy to cook and you are looking for something quick. Hence, why I went here for some quick dinner, I am disappointed with how this trip turned out.
