The satay beef rice noodle soup was amazing! The broth was so unique and delicious that I even paid extra to take another portion home. The green onion roti was fantastic too, with a nice hint of egg.
It’s a popular spot where local residents often gather for meals, and the vibe is great. However, there’s still room for improvement in the service details. Hope to see better customer service in the future!

I like this place for the curry beef brisket + roti. The brisket has an enjoyable meaty texture that balances chew vs tenderness well. Portion size of the brisket and roti is generous. Very satisfying and would re-order this.
The pho here however is sub-par. Tiny beef balls and the broth is too salty.
Similarly the laksa leans on the salty side and my companion didn’t bother finishing the fish balls. I tried one and agreed it was not great.
No washroom at this restaurant, have to use the shared one within the plaza

got the lemon grass pork chop rice and the sliced beef in satay peanut soup! they were both really good and it was truly authentic! price was reasonable as well! around 30-40$ in total in the end. the soup dish was my favorite, it had lots of layers of flavour- spiciness from the satay, the satay obviously, a hint of sweetness from small pineapple pieces, a tint of citrus from the lime (which is optional), and peanut (with a little bit of crunchy texture to the peanut crumbs in the soup too). The portions were big too and i’m definitely going back to try the other dishes- i heard the curry is to go for too. seriously mad that i didn’t find out about this place sooner! the pics below may not do it justice (i took these after i started eating)

Walked inside the mall and this reminds me on Asia. No glass windows separating the dining area and hallway. You can see recycled boxes in the front. Not a big deal to me, but maybe for others it is. I’m sure management will clean the hallways better.
The food is good. We ordered a number of items. Pho (all mix beef), the chicken skewers, laska noodle soup, dry Vietnamese noodles, grilled pork chop rice platter, and roti bread with curry chicken potatoes.

Used to be one of my favourite places for South East Asian food but the quality seems to have gone down. Most of the Vietnamese dishes are average. The iced coffee is still good and the naan and curry are still excellent. Service is usually good. If going to any of the food places in this plaza remember that the restrooms are not directly accessible from most of the restaurants. You have to go to the restrooms near the access to the underground parking.

3 stars for their foods, 1 star for the seating environment and 2 stars for the price. I would say their food is not bad at all but the seating environment has been the same for the past 10-15 years i guess. No change but price has changed significantlly. Perhaps I haven’t been here for long but last time I came food was pretty cheap compared to others so I would come here and have a sit down lunch or dinner. Although their food is fine, but with the price on the menu and an extra $0.5 for takeaway box (which is a good thing for the environment, but bad that they don’t mention it when i asked for it), I think I probably will not come here again. What’s good? Their curry is pretty good and the house fried noodles or the fried rice is always the best. Also the roti is pretty good too. Again, if you don’t mind the seating environment then sure come for it, but these items are like $13.95… or curry rice.. price as shown in the pics.. well, not many choices within this so-called haunted plaza. enjoy.

One of the classic Vietnamese restaurants in the city, been around for ages, same people, same great food. Best part is somehow always have a table available!

This resto used to be a staple in my family’s lineup but we rarely ever come here anymore.
The prices skyrocketed through the roof (beyond typical inflation). The one dish that I do keep coming back for occasionally, is the curry beef brisket (with either rice or roti depending on my mood).
The curry is extremely flavourful, the brisket is quite abundant in each order and the tenderness is usually on point as well.
The pho USED to be above avg quality but it’s typically a no-go for me these days (and there’s way better, more authentic options in the york region area if we’re being real).
The roti is more of a malay style roti. A lil bit chewier and thicker than usual but still delicious and kinda flaky.
I sparingly order from here nowadays because of just how insane the price is for one curry dish (over $20!!!). But I will concede that they give you a big portion of curry. I think it’s usually consistent (maybe once or twice I’ve gotten an egregiously little amount protein).
If you’re looking for truly authentic pho (or more specifically, authentic Vietnamese food) I would advise going to another resto. If you’re looking for good food in general, this resto does have some sleeper hits!

Quick-bite place with an atmosphere kind of like a food court. Doesn’t really feel like a real restaurant.
They made some changes recently. The service has gotten nicer. Food and price are reasonable for the neighbourhood. Not a bad regular place to visit for lunch if looking for reliable.
