I was skeptical about placing my order through the doordash app for this restaurant because I have never tried bagel boys food.
I took a chance to place the order because they had a great deal however upon arriving I was not greeted by the lady cashier she just stared at me blandly until I greeted her and showed her my phone that has the order number.
It was only the cook that made me feel welcome when he brought my order to me.
As I’ve said before and I’ve learned from years of working in customer service, if people do not welcome you into their establishment; you should take your money elsewhere because apparently they don’t value and respect you as a customer!
All the more, I did enjoy the OG Nick with the Home Fries!
Because of tasty food, I would have rated them a solid 5 if the atmosphere would have been more welcoming!!

I lived in New Jersey for several years and there was a local bagel shop I missed so much after I moved away. I’m so glad that I found authentic NY/NJ bagels here in Charlotte. It was a rainy morning when I decided to give Bagel Bros a try and their food made my day!

Inconsistent food preparation, value, and quality. On our first visit, our bagels were unbelievably fresh and delicious. We ordered six various breakfast sandwiches on bagels, but everyone’s favorite was the simple: toasted everything bagel with plain cream cheese. It was toasted to perfection and LOADED with cream cheese. So, I went back this morning and ordered five toasted bagels with cream cheese. Three were so over-toasted that they were almost black. All the seeds atop the everything bagels WERE black. There was nothing soft or chewy about them. The other two were over toasted, but not as bad as the other three. They each contained what I would consider the “bare minimum” amount of cream cheese. Nothing like our first visit. At $5/bagel plus tax and tip, I expect much, much better.

Don’t waste your money- overpriced for inconsistent preparation every time. We’ve given them multiple chances and continue to get disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes it’s good, but for the price I’d rather go somewhere I know I’ll get high quality every time, and that they’ll remember all of the order when we take it to go. Today bagel was clearly burned but the bacon was undercooked- Not good at all.

My husband and I went here this morning on a whim and had the best experience. We were immediately greeted outside by a younger boy who opened the door for us- how sweet! Then once inside we were greeted by what we assume were the owners and family. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and genuine it was so refreshing! They made out bagels fresh right then in a matter of 5 minutes and holy cow they were the best bagels we’ve both ever had. They were so soft and the cream cheese flavors were to die for. Really great bagel sandwhich and coffee! I got a sausage egg and cheese on an everything and it was very good! I wish the pistachio latte had a bit more pistachio flavor, I couldn’t really taste it (I might ask for an extra pump next time) but it was still a great latte regardless. Will be back here for sure!

Your edited response to my original review is funny. You removed the fact that you said you ship the bagels from New York 3 to 4 times weekly, admitting that they are not fresh as you state on you website. Now you state the dough is shipped in from NY. You also removed the statement that you use Philadelphia cream cheese admitting its not fresh cream cheese. As well as saying that you whip the cream cheese several times a day. What does that even mean? It store bought cream cheese. Maybe you should spend more time trying to actually make a fresh bagel and less time agruing about honest reviews that you dont agree with. The only issue that you are correct about is the items I purchased. But the price is secondary to the quality of the food you serve. Really, make bagels not excuses. Stop embarrassing yourself.

No prices when you walk in or on receipt. $5 for a bagel and cream cheese is normal in Manhattan. But they put real cream cheese on it not a swipe of white pasty milk like spread. $37 for 1 butter 1 cream cheese and one egg sandwich 2 coffees.
And it was horrible. Didnt eat the cream cheese one. Taste was so bad.

Really sweet guy who runs the place, got an excellent everything bagel with turkey bacon, cheddar, and egg. Also got the mango smoothie, which was excellent. (Maybe a bigger straw would be nice though)

I’ve lived in this area for more than 10 years and have tried every nearby bagel spot. Bagel Boys is by far the best. The staff is always warm and welcoming, the kiosk makes ordering so simple, and the bagels themselves are incredible. They’re always fresh, full of flavor, and keep me coming back again and again. Truly the best bagels around!

Ordered pick up, no wait. I have been gluten free for 5 years and this is one of the best bagels i’ve had since, arguably better than some I had in NY. Great flavor, added egg whites, bagel wasn’t crumbly and held up great. Will be back for sure!!
