Dear Starbucks Customer Service Team,
I am writing to share a disappointing experience I recently had at your Selah, WA location.
This morning, I called to ask about pricing for a cappuccino and whether there were group options available if I wanted to purchase 10–20 drinks. The employee told me flatly that there were no such options. Because of that response, I hung up the phone. Later, I recalled seeing coffee travelers in Texas stores, so I called back to confirm. The same person, who identified herself as the supervisor, then acknowledged that travelers were available, but only after I specifically asked.
What concerned me most was not just the lack of information, but the curt and dismissive tone I experienced. As a customer, I felt as if I was an inconvenience rather than someone being served.
What makes this especially disappointing is that I have not yet purchased from this Starbucks location. I was planning to, because I know Starbucks has great coffee and I wanted to start visiting regularly. In fact, I was planning on giving away my homemade cheesecakes at a community gathering and pairing them with Starbucks coffee for guests. If it went well, I was considering making this a weekly tradition every Friday, which could mean steady business for Starbucks—serving 10 to 20 people each week. In doing so, I would not only be serving quality coffee, but also promoting Starbucks in a town that already has several local coffee shops. This could have been a positive for everyone involved.
I value Starbucks for its quality and customer care, which is why this encounter stood out so strongly. I hope this feedback can be used constructively as a reminder of how important customer service is to the brand’s reputation and customer loyalty.

The people here went out of their way to make my wife a drink that wasn’t usually on the menu, but one manager knew how to do it and made her day.
My one nitpick is the seat I remember was hard on the caboose. The place looks lovely otherwise.
