This restaurant is perfectly named. It is a cozy small place that reminds me of those great lil food stops while on the road traveling. The breakfast menu is typical but once it is served that is where it ends. The pancakes are fluffy and flavorful. The 2 types of potatoes, hashed or cubed, are perfectly cooked, crispy on outside, soft and creamy inside. I had the Mexican omelette, this is how it stood out compared to other breakfast restaurants, the chorizo was not greasy. It had the best flavor and topped with Avacado perfectly sliced and well ripened. It came with sour cream and salsa. My Mom had the Denver omelette and she said the flavor really was outstanding. I believe it is the quality of the ingredients they use but more importantly, it is how it is cooked. The waitress we had was so nice and attentive. The flow of customers was steady. I recommend you try at least once. No flash, no fancy themes, just good food and solid service.

Everything was delicious as always! We had the potato pancake benny and taffy waffle, both came out perfectly. We had service with a smile and they went out of their way to find the creamer we liked. Overall very happy with this experience. Five stars.

Consistently a great place to have breakfast. The waitresses are awesome and friendly. You can sit wherever. Definitely will be a regular here now that me and my partner discovered this place.

Amazing food. The Mexican skillet was perfect. The Apple cinnamon pancakes did not even need syrup. Fiancé got the hash brown pancakes. Said they were really good. Will return soon.

If you enjoy a nice laid back breakfast and want to get away from the big chain DONT PASS the Nook. If you like grits get urself 2 bowls cause its like Grandma Tennessee use to make. If im ever passing thru again you can bet your back wheel ill be stopping here again. Thank you for a nice Breakfast my Girl and I really enjoyed spending breakfast with y’all. Cheers! ……. Stopped in this little hidden jem on the way to the bank and I got to say for a small out of the way place this is in my top 10 all time favorite the food was great 9 out 0f 10 whoever the cool is they know what they are doing back there in the kitchen and the server we had was perfect if you haven’t tried this spot yet your missing out
